Nuo Opera Kraft Bag

Originating over 3,000 years ago in Enshi, Nuo Opera is a traditional Tujia performance art that blends ritual and theater.

It was performed to ward off evil spirits and bring blessings.

Our Nuo Opera Kraft Bag draws inspiration from this rich cultural heritage.

Each bag features a design inspired by traditional Nuo masks, symbolizing protection and good fortune.

Choose your guardian spirit:

拍Pai: Thunder Claps Warms Your Steep.

扫Sao: Brooms Sweeps Holds Mountain Purity.

挥Hui: A Swing Summons Jade-Leaf Harvest

Let the spirit of Nuo Opera guard you and your tea, turning everyday sip moments into rituals of positivity and protection.

Handwoven Xilankapu Tea Cloth

Handcrafted by Tujia Artisan Sisters Workshop

This isn’t just a tea cloth—it’s a tapestry of history and tradition.

Woven by the Tan sisters workshop, recognized inheritors of the Tujia brocade art, each piece is created using techniques passed down through generations over five centuries.

Known as Xilankapu, meaning “flower-patterned quilt” in the Tujia language, this textile was traditionally crafted by Tujia women as part of their dowries, symbolizing blessings and stories woven into every thread. With over 200 distinct patterns, each design reflects elements of nature, daily life, and auspicious symbols.

The intricate weaving process involves 12 meticulous steps on ancient wooden waist looms. Uniquely, artisans weave from the back side of the fabric, memorizing complex patterns without visual guides. It’s a testament to their exceptional skill and dedication.

Enshi Clay Tea Bowl

Enshi red earth tells tales of centuries past. Tujia artisans mold clay into vessels as well as their stories.

Each bowl embraces the natural imperfections that make every piece unique. The rich, selenium-laden red clay of Enshi has been used for generations, not just for its durability, but for its deep connection to the land and its people.

These bowls have graced tables during festivals, family gatherings, and daily meals.

We don’t outsource our sourcing. We live here. Work here. And co-build this garden together with the local village in the mountains of Enshi, China.

We’ve launched what we call the “Village Dividend Plan”—a fixed fund pool from our revenues that goes directly to the village community, not as charity, but as shared benefit and participation. Every year, villagers help decide how it’s used: from elder care, to sustainable tools, to community gatherings.

📊 All financial data will be publicly released on our website.

🌐 We’ll even live-stream the tea garden, 24 hours a day, so you can see how your tea is grown and made.

Farmer’s name, origin, and quality grade are just basics we will provide.

They don’t just help—they become part of our story.

And if you can’t come in person, we invite you to join our Discord community, where we discuss everything from tea making to village governance. You can help shape our path.
