  • Sign contract manufacturing agreement.
  • Transfer tooling, CAD files, BOM, and assembly documentation.
  • Begin small-scale trial builds to validate processes.

December 2025 – January 2026

  • Begin safety and compliance certification testing (UL, CSA, CE, etc.).
  • Manufacturer sets up production line and trains assembly staff.
  • Produce first engineering validation build for testing and certification.

February – March 2026

  • Complete certification process.
  • Conduct pilot production run (production validation build) to verify quality and consistency.
  • Finalize packaging, instructions, and logistics for global shipping.

April 2026

  • Ramp up to full production.

Where We Are Today

After years of development, testing, and iteration, we now have a fully functional prototype built using production-grade industrial tooling. This is not a proof-of-concept or lab-only device—it’s a real, working product that does what we set out to achieve: cooks a variety of foods to restaurant-quality perfection with no guesswork or manual steps.

The AI Scanning Process: When the door closes, sensors trigger the scanning sequence. The top camera captures the first image to identify food type, followed by a side camera for the second angle. Our proprietary algorithm analyzes both photos to calculate the exact length, width, and height of the food.

The final shipped product will feature complete finishing, refined design, and full consumer-ready packaging. This demonstration focuses on showcasing the core functionality and cooking performance of the Agari system.

From Kitchen Frustration to Breakthrough Innovation

We started with a simple question: Why can’t we get restaurant-quality food at home without spending years learning to cook like a chef?

Our answer: No cooking technology has ever automated the precise steps that create truly exceptional food—juicy on the inside, perfectly crispy on the outside.

Professional chefs know the secret: techniques like sous-vide and reverse sear. Cook low and slow first, then finish with a blazing-hot sear. But these methods demand knowledge, equipment, and constant attention. Most home cooks give up and settle for mediocre results.

As engineers and inventors, we saw an opportunity. What if we could automate the entire process?

The Journey to the Agari Smart Cooker

We studied everything on the market—from home appliances to $25,000 commercial kitchen equipment. Our vision crystallized: a smart cooker that could see your food, calculate the perfect parameters, and execute restaurant techniques automatically.

We started small, retrofitting countertop pressure cookers with sensors and steam generators. We focused obsessively on chicken breasts—notoriously difficult to perfect—and achieved consistently juicy, flavourful results.

The Breakthrough: Zero to Sear in 60 Seconds

We discovered that traditional ovens waste enormous time and energy heating thick metal walls. Until those walls reach searing temperature, they actually cool the air, sabotaging your sear.

Our solution? A thin inner wall that heats instantly, surrounded by insulation, with a thicker outer wall containing the pressure. We could switch from 150°F to 550°F very quickly—without ever moving the food.

We proved our concept with a full working prototype built from a medical autoclave. Double walls, low-temperature pressure cooking, instant heat transitions—everything we’d envisioned.

Then came the real work: hundreds of chicken breasts. Each cook taught us something new. We refined our algorithms, perfected our timing, and eliminated every variable that could lead to disappointing results.

David is an engineer and entrepreneur with years of experience building and scaling hardware companies, including founding and selling a cleantech venture. At Agari, he focuses on turning breakthrough cooking technology into a product that can fit seamlessly into everyday kitchens.

Anthony leads the development of the Smart Cooker’s core electronics, from the steam generator and fan motor to the sensors and control board, ensuring all components work seamlessly together. Beyond engineering, he brings culinary expertise as our head chef, cooking with the prototype and helping refine the food experience.

With a strong background in software engineering, Harsh is building the Smart Cooker’s intelligence. He is responsible for the 3D scanning system, remote temperature sensing, and the companion app that connects seamlessly with the hardware.

If any issues arise, our support team provides direct assistance via chat or email, including replacement parts and step-by-step repair guidance for home fixes.

For problems that can’t be resolved remotely, we’ll repair or replace your unit at no cost—provided it hasn’t been damaged through misuse.

  • Home Beta Testing: We’ll be placing units in real homes to gather user feedback, test across a range of environments, and fine-tune the experience before launch.
  • Contract manufacturing full scale production
