An exclusive, affordable automatic watch that contains steel taken from a satellite ground station at the South Pole.
Check on Kickstarter

Hi Kickstarter, it’s been a while and we couldn’t be happier to be back! We are returning with a truly unique collection of watches inspired by satellite ground stations.

What makes them unique you may ask? Well, each of them incorporates steel from the first antenna to be ever built in Antarctica.

Paying tribute to the work of KSAT (Kongsberg Satellite Services) and inspired by their vast network of satellite ground stations around the globe, our KSAT collection brings a tangible element of outer space to your wrist.

We all know that outside of the look you are here for the specs – so before we take it any further, take a look at what we promise to deliver.

Our watches are loved by many and we are pound to bring you a product that sparked the interest of so many great publications.

Hooked? Let us introduce you to our new collection.

With the help of KSAT, we were able to incorporate the steel from the first antenna built in Antarctica into these watches.

This antenna is still fully functional and is still gathering images from outer space. Those images are used for a variety of things –  from helping to save refugees, to collecting important data that monitor our environment. This is your chance to own (and wear!) a part of an object that truly makes history!

In February 2022 we collected steel from the first antenna ever built at the Troll Ground Station in Antarctica (close to the South Pole).

The crown shaped like a satellite ground antenna will be made using this steel, so you can feel the connection to the universe whenever you check the time.

When you wear one of our KSAT watches you also wear a piece of metal that has been in contact with satellites traversing outer space.

A piece of metal that has been collecting world-changing data for fifteen years under extreme conditions.

Being a Norwegian company, many of our previous dials have been inspired by the unique lighting conditions found in Norway. This collection is no exception.

The three dial colors are inspired by the polar blue skythe polar white snow, and the beautiful peach-like color of the dawn sky in Antarctica.

The dial structure is closely inspired by the radome surrounding the antennas at the Troll Ground Station. A radome is a structural, weatherproof enclosure that protects the satellite antenna, which gives it its unique look.

It is an essential part of the antenna,  making sure it works in rough climates and all kinds of weather. Just like your watch should.

The ‘second hand’ features a BGW9-lumed satellite to visualize the satellites orbiting the earth and the ground stations.

Since our KSAT watches are self-winding, the satellite will smoothly orbit the radome-inspired dial. This also means they can last a lifetime, and be passed from generation to generation with proper maintenance.

Oh, we should also say that the lume lights up in the dark. Lighting up, not dissimilar to the stars in the sky, making you stand out always,

Featuring sapphire glass as a see-through window that visualizes the earth, with a satellite ground station engraved on the back, along with engraved satellite and stars.

Feel inspired to do extraordinary things everyday.

Two years ago, we launched our first campaign on Kickstarter.  We raised over $100,000 and received great reviews! Check out some of our favorite reviews below:
