Finding the Right Size: Why 97%?
The Razer Viper V3 Pro is the current standard for symmetrical shapes. It’s a great mouse. But for many of us, the full-size profile is just slightly too big for precise micro-adjustments.
We’ve analyzed the feedback, and came to the conclusion that the issue isn’t just simply that the mouse is “too big”. The issue is that the excess length at the back hits your palm when you pull down for recoil control. You are fighting the shape to find space for micro-adjustments.

So what is the perfect size for vertical freedom? We didn’t guess. We 3D printed the classic shape in various scales, from 95% to 99%, and sent them to our testing group.
The feedback pointed to one number: 97%. It keeps the stability of the original shape but removes the excess bulk that blocks your aim.
By reducing the footprint by 3%, it eliminates the excess bulk that often hinders micro-adjustments, making it the ultimate tool for claw and fingertip grip players.
