The cylindrical shape of the DROBI One brewer has a flat bottom to distribute the coffee grounds that prevents from any bypass. Coffee is brewed with richer flavor than brewed with a cone-shaped filter.

Bypass means when water literally bypasses the edge of the cone-shaped filter, or too fast, extracting grounds partially. Bypass is the primary sources of acerbity in brewed coffee. And so, it prevents from tasting the full flavor of the coffee.

Product’s top part of the components, also called the ‘Top’ has the effects of a showerhead. So even if you pour hot water all at once, the hot water runs down evenly through the whole coffee grounds.

Also, there is a 1.67 fl oz (50 ml) line marked inside of the ‘Top,’ so you don’t have to measure the water with a scale every time you brew your coffee.

DROBI One is a cylindrical brewer with a flat (or horizontal) bottom filter that makes water run through every single coffee particle. Therefore, the flavor of the coffee becomes distinctive and able to enjoy the true taste of the coffee beans.

One of the problems with using a paper filter is that it takes away the coffee oil while brewing, not to mention the process to get rid of the paper flavor to the brew.
Stainless steel filter eliminates these problems effectively.

Most stainless steel filters in the market use either single or double-layer mesh filters. They don’t absorb the coffee oil as much as the paper filters but oftentimes will not filter the coffee fines efficiently.

DROBI One perfectly improves the problems with a single- or double layer filters. With a triple layer filter system of 50-250-50 mesh, you can expect a consistent and fresh quality cup of coffee by keeping the right amount of coffee oil and filtering out the coffee fines.

DROBI One absolutely avoids using paper filters at any given circumstances. Materials including the mesh net and a cup-shaped body are all made out of stainless steel which means it is recyclable and reduces the use of plastic and paper.

Less flavor potential of the beans brewing happens on a cone-shaped filter due to a bypass method where pouring water misses or absorb not enough beans to concentrate the coffee.

In the other hand, a cylindrical brewer creates the evenness of the distributed coffee inside the body to avoid any bypass and practically reduces the amount of beans to brew a cup of coffee.

DROBI One aspires to make coffee brewing like a professional barista using pour over method. Using the effects of a showerhead structured in the ‘Top’ component, anyone can brew a consistently good coffee without any “handling” technique.

One of the reasons why beginners find brewing coffee difficult is that so many different brewing equipment are out there, and the handling of the coffee directly affects its taste. DROBI One does the handling for you as our brewer provides easy access to beginners by using stainless steel materials that are sturdy and durable.

Unlike most of the stainless-steel brewer on the market, our stainless-steel brewer’s filter can be detached from the main component for a thorough washing.
You have the option to wash the brewer as a whole or separately however you feel more comfortable with.

Store the DROBI One by stacking all components from top, middle, to bottom, respectively.
It’s easy to wash and clean as all three bodies of components are modular.

Coffee grounds are tapped evenly at the bottom of the so called ‘Middle’ component.
Pour water over the ‘Top’ component to damp the coffee grounds and let it extract through the triple layer mesh filter out to the cup.
