Background
After a success of the Exlicon L stainless steel version, we are excited to now launch a new brass version. Ddiin has funded six projects on Kickstarter: Magcon, Exlicon, Exlicon MX, Exlicon L, and Exlicon Magnetic Pen, reaching over 80 countries, including the North America, Europe, and more. More than 30 design prizes have been given to previous products, highlighting the exceptional quality and inventiveness. With the backing of 6,000 supporters from our prior Kickstarter campaigns, we’ve been able to bring our innovative designs to fruition.
Track Record

Accurately portraying the golden ratio in freehand sketches presents challenges due to the absence of precise measuring tools. The golden ratio, approximately 1.618, appears frequently in natural and artistic contexts. Achieving its accuracy without tools like dividers or rulers can be challenging. With precise measurements, however, maintaining the exact proportions required for the golden ratio becomes more feasible and subjective in freehand drawings.

Changing Materials – Brass
With the successful launch of our Exlicon L (stainless steel), we have now developed a new brass version. Brass not only offers an elegant aesthetic appeal but also provides additional weight, enhancing drawing stability. Moreover, brass boasts superior corrosion resistance, ensuring durability and longevity even with frequent use. These hand-sized tools are portable, innovative, and user-friendly, allowing for versatile and effortless creative exploration.

Exlicon L Golden Ratio Tool Set (BRASS) includes TG Tool, Triangle Tool, and Circle Tool, which are multifunctional and designed for drawing geometric shapes and angles in the golden ratio.

This brass tool set is portable and multifunctional, incorporating golden spirals, angle measurements, a triangle ruler, 2mm & 3mm marker lines, a parabolic curve, the golden triangle, the golden ratio, and radiating lines. It offers versatile and precise capabilities for measurements and markings.

Golden Ratio Applied to Our Design
The “golden ratio,” a mathematical concept found both in nature and design, defines a proportion renowned for its aesthetic appeal and balance. Approximating 1.618, it is symbolized by φ = (1 + √5) / 2.
This ratio divides a line or form into two sections where the ratio of the larger section to the smaller segment equals the ratio of the entire segment to the larger section. Widely applied in art and architecture, the golden ratio enhances compositions with a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing quality.

We take inspiration from the golden ratio observed in nature and architecture, integrating its principles into our Exlicon L Golden Ratio Tool Set (BRASS).
Exlicon L Golden Ratio Tool Set (BRASS) embodies the golden ratio’s harmonious shapes, making it exceptionally well-suited for diverse design disciplines. Its features are tailored to meet the exacting demands of architecture, art, graphic, industrial, fashion fields. With precise measurements, and versatile applications, professionals can leverage its capabilities to craft visually stunning and balanced designs.

Exlicon L – Golden Ratio Tool Set (BRASS) caters to a wide array of users, including graphic designers, architects, and more. Enabling users to create visually compelling compositions through balanced layouts, application of the golden ratio to grids, and harmonious proportions.
Architects can use it to integrate the golden ratio into their designs. This tool set helps them draw proportional shapes, find optimal dimensions for building elements, and create harmonious spatial relationships. It combines multiple functions into one tool, making the design process more efficient and precise.
