Thermometers, blood pressure cuffs, glucose monitors… all of these devices have become readily available. Because the quick yet accurate results from these devices let us regularly monitor our health at a moment’s notice.

But what if managing IBD was as simple as using a thermometer? Fecal Scanner is that easy. As long as you have your smartphone, you’ll have on-demand IBD care anytime, anywhere. This is especially welcome news for those living with IBD and require consistent monitoring.

Simple. Safe. Accurate. Fecal Scanner eliminates the difficulties of regular colon inspections to reinvent the way we inspect our colons.

All it takes is one smartphone picture to get Fecal Scanner running. No inconvenient colon cleansers or horrible smells!

Just center your toilet bowl in the Fecal Scanner camera and the deep learning video analytics software will conduct an in-depth analysis of your colon health. In just a few seconds, you’ll get your colon score and an analytics report from our AI Agent estimating your level of bowel inflammation.

A score over 50 indicates a normal colon, while a score below 50 means there may be something wrong. And if your average score is below 50 for 2 weeks, Fecal Scanner will let you phone a nearby hospital to seek urgent care.

Fecal Scanner provides insights on how your diet is affecting your bowel movements for better IBD care. Just upload a picture of your meal and the AI analysis will provide you with visualizations on how your diet is influencing your bowel movements and even provide food recommendations based on your score.

The scores recorded by Fecal Scanner are recorded for long-term reference, letting you get consistent monitoring for signs of IBD and updates on the condition of your colon. See your colon health trend day by day and get a detailed breakdown of your diet, plus weekly and monthly health scores so you can see in detail how your diet is affecting your colon health.

At AICU GLOBAL, we have data processing knowhow that nobody else has. Our internally developed AI deep-learning model has been trained on over 7,000 images to provide analysis and colon scores on visual elements like color, shape, blood/mucus content, etc.

For assured quality, we collected over 3,700 images from 500 colonoscopy patients and compared Fecal Scanner’s results with calprotectin fecal inspections. The calprotectin fecal inspections had 85-88% precision compared to a colonoscopy, while Fecal Scanner had an excellent 93% precision.

Normally, it’s hard to anticipate IBD based on subjective symptoms alone. But with Fecal Scanner, you can track your risk for IBD, letting you treat your inflammation before your symptoms worsen.

Fecal Scanner’s clinical research results were awarded the Best Oral Presentation at IMKASID 2022—an annual congress for international intestinal disease research.

Though rare, the colonoscopy vacuum has been known to cause side effects in senior users with weakened intestines or those with colon inflammation.

But Fecal Scanner is a highly safe, non-invasive inspection with no potential side effects—just take a picture with your smartphone and you’re done!

Fecal Scanner also helps you keep track of any medicines or injections you may be taking. The app lets you see a record of your medicinal intake while also letting you set a convenient alarm to make sure you take your next dosage at the right time. And if you happen to miss your next shot or pill, the app will let you know if there are any alternatives.

With the community message board, you can talk with others living with IBD to share advice, connect with medical professionals, and share the latest info.

Compared to a colonoscopy or fecal calprotectin test, Fecal Scanner is highly affordable. Now, people living with IBD, colon cancer, or other conditions that require long-term colon monitoring can get the care they need.

Colonoscopies and calprotectin tests are a huge burden for anyone. A colonoscopy can cost 3,000 dollars or more, while a calprotectin test can be 350 dollars and is usually not covered by insurance. But over 1 million Americans live with colitis ulcerosa and regularly need inflammation monitoring.
“Isn’t there a better, cheaper way to care for our colons?” For the last 4 years, this fundamental question has been the core of our research. Finally, after collecting thousands of cases worth of data for our research and developing a verified-effective in-house AI, we’re proud to unveil our deep-learning medical AI solution built with all of our collected data, Fecal Scanner, here on Indiegogo. Hassle-free and easy to use, all you need to do is take a picture of your toilet bowl once you’ve done your business, and the AI will provide a colon health analysis that’s up to 93% as accurate as a colonoscopy. This information can then be used to check for bleeding or inflammation in the colon much more quickly than alternative methods. With Fecal Scanner’s daily colon inspections, people living with IBD and IBS can prevent their symptoms from flaring up beforehand. And for young children or seniors who can’t readily get a colonoscopy, Fecal Scanner is an easy way to check for abnormalities. We kindly ask for your support as we launch our first ever product—Fecal Scanner—on Indiegogo.
