Flora was born from its founder Aabesh De’s horticultural hopelessness during the pandemic: trying to fill time with houseplants and create a beautiful indoor space, he left a streak of dead plants in his wake, including his mother’s prized Jasmine plant. Realizing that there had to be a better way to care for plants, Aabesh combined his passion for entrepreneurship and app building with his electrical engineering hobby, and created Flora.
