We’re thrilled to introduce our very first Kickstarter campaign, Gradient Watch – an innovative timepiece that has been in the making for over three years.

Gradient Watch is a minimalist analog watch that translates time into different patterns. A wearable piece of art that doesn’t just tell time, but expresses it.

Gradient Watch tells time with the help of two overlapping gradients – one for hours and one for minutes – blending into different patterns as time goes by. In an era dominated by smartwatches and their steady stream of distractions, Gradient Watch aims to make time reading a simple yet visually pleasing experience.

Every moment is unique, and Gradient Watch is a reflection of just that.

Gradient Watch is available in four different colors:

Black case + black leather strap (black mesh strap available as add-on),
Silver case + silver mesh strap (grey leather strap available as add-on),
Gold case + gold mesh strap (white leather strap available as add-on),
Rose gold case + rose gold mesh strap (beige leather strap available as add-on).

Choose your favorite watch or opt for the Twin Pack or Premium Pack if you’d like an extra watch for yourself or someone special.

Despite its creative design, Gradient Watch really is quite simple to read. Imagine each gradient as a hand that gradually fades out. The smaller gradient shows hours while the bigger one shows minutes:

For more than 3 years, we have worked tirelessly on perfecting every detail of the Gradient Watch, including its size and proportions. The result is a sleek unisex design with a premium finish and high quality materials – powered by a Japanese movement known for its accuracy and durability.

With a case of 38 mm, Gradient Watch has a versatile size that suits both smaller and larger wrists. Its balanced proportions provide a classic look without feeling too bold or too delicate. The lugs on the watch are carefully designed to hug the wrist, enhancing comfort and offering a refined, minimalist appearance.

It may not look like it, but Gradient Watch is every bit as analog as a traditional wristwatch. Equipped with a Japanese Miyota 2025 quartz movement, it runs both smoothly and reliably.

The hands move in small increments that are barely noticable to the naked eye. Because of this, the movement of the hands really does look as smooth as shown in our videos.

Designed for versatility, the strap on the Gradient Watch is easily replaceable – whether it’s time for a new color, a different material, or simply a refresh. The straps are 18 mm wide and come in either genuine leather or stainless steel – matching the color and finish of the case.

Each watch features a unique serial number engraved on the back of the case. This number ensures that your watch is one of a kind, serving as a guarantee of its authenticity and as a record of its production year.

The Gradient Watch box is made of high quality cardboard and optimized for flat pack shipping. The minimalist and compact packaging protects the watch during transit while reducing CO2 emissions and shipping costs – allowing us to offer free worldwide delivery!

Since we already have finished samples of the watch and tooling ready for production, we do not expect any delays once the Kickstarter campaign ends. We are planning to ship all orders by the end of April 2025 and we will be informing our backers about the progress.

Click on the green button “Back this project” at the top right corner.
Choose your reward: Pick either 1 x Gradient Watch, Twin or Premium Package. Confirm your reward and click “Continue”.
Log in or sign up to Kickstarter, if you don’t have an account.
Complete payment: Enter payment details, click “Pledge,” and you will get a confirmation email. Your card is only charged if the campaign reaches its goal by January 2025. If the campaign is not successful, you will not be charged.
Post-campaign survey: After the campaign ends in January 2025, you’ll receive an email to confirm the shipping address and select a color option (if you didn’t already). You will also be able to edit your order and add items.
