Introducing the hillock!

The hillock is a portable wrist rest designed by a professional mechanic designer as a work product. Not only it prevents wrist pain, but it also makes your PC work more smoothly. From the success of fundraising by gathering more than 520 backers in Japanese crowdfunding, we added a new lineup made of more rigid material to meet the demand of overseas users.

Based on the feedback from the previous crowdfunding in Japan, we decided to add a new stiffer material for the overseas market. It is up to you to use a soft or a hard hillock! The softer hillock ver.1.0 is designed for people who use the mouse on the desk all the time. On the other hand, the stiffer hillock ver.2.0 is for people who move the mouse at high speed or people who want to carry it around with you.

Many people have a lot of stress on their arms.

Have you ever had pain in your wrist due to a long-time of work on a PC? Many people use PCs for hours every day, causing pain and discomfort on your wrist and even on your elbow.

How the hillock was born.

Tadashi, the designer of the hillock, was struggling with wrist pain when he was in a development department of a major precision equipment manufacturer. At first, he tried some wrist rests and supporters, but nothing was satisfying. Those products did not support his wrist well, nor comfortable to wear. This experience led him to design a truly useful work tool, which became the hillock! The hillock supports your wrist gently and lessens the risk of wrist pain. It also decreases resistance to desks so that your wrist will be highly movable and feel a sense of floating.

Point 1: Ergonomic Design

We found the golden ratio (median 16cm) that is balanced with natural touching and usability. The hillock has a detailed fluid shape and fits your wrist perfectly because it is designed to catch the natural wrist shape. While some other mobile wrist rests require you to press down on your wrist to move it, the hillock is designed to follow your wrist naturally with the same operation as usual.

Point2: A Feeling of Floating

Using PTFE(polytetrafluoroethylene) material made it possible to produce the best ultra-low friction product. Primarily, it moves smoothly on office desks, melamine surfaced decorative laminates and hard mousepads for gaming, and you feel your wrist is floating! You can use your arm smoothly from a mouse to a keyboard.

Point3: Durable and Breathable

While it is made of durable engineering material, the elastic structure gently supports the wrist. The wrist tends to sweat when the watch band and other accessories are in close contact with the skin, but when using the hillock, it is breathable and does not get stuffy.
