tldr; If you’ve ever been on a group trip – whether it’s for a friend’s birthday, bachelorette party, or family vacation – you likely look back on them as some of your favorite memories. There’s nothing like spending time with the people you love while sharing new experiences. And yet, you hesitate to plan your next trip because… you’re too familiar with how time-consuming, stressful, or frustrating organizing these trips can be! 

That’s where Jetty comes in — a travel planning app, made for groups. It’s designed to make organizing a group trip an easier and more enjoyable, *shared* experience. Regardless of what role you typically play in planning — designated trip organizer of the group, the friend who likes to make suggestions, or the person who just venmos, we’ve designed Let’s Jetty with you in mind. 

You can officially say goodbye to unanswered group chats,  searching through endless text threads, or the many  “What day are we leaving again?” moments that come up, because Let’s Jetty will be the Type A planner of the group that keeps everyone in check, so you don’t have to.

How does Jetty work? What features will our app have?

Note: Jetty will be launching as a Progressive Web App at launch so both iOS and android users (and desktop users) will have access! We’ve carefully selected and designed our features based on user research & talking to many travelers like yourself!

Let’s Jetty’s beta (for early access users) is planned to launch late September 2023. 

Features will include:

– invitations: easy to create digital invitations where you can set an RSVP deadline, track responses, and even attach survey/polls to kick things off. 

– date recommender: enter a date range, have your crew fill out their availability, & Let’s Jetty will provide the ideal dates that works for the group for your crew to vote on.

– surveys & polls: no more struggling to finalize a place to stay or agree on activities. send out quick *time-limited* polls & your crew can vote. Let’s Jetty eliminates the back & forth, allowing everyone a say, while keeping trip planning moving.

– recommended places to stay: Let’s Jetty provides recommendations based on your destination, dates, crew & other preference (like budget)

– trip message board: you & your crew can post suggestions, ideas, & polls while planning together. say bye to the messy group chats & easily keep track of your conversations. 

– guided planning w/ TO DOs checklist, & reminders: you’ll no longer have to chase your friends down. Let’s Jetty’s your Type A bestie that keeps everyone in check so you don’t have to! 

– trip hub & finalized itinerary: you can finally store all of your trip plans & travel details in one place. as you finalize the details of your trip, and your crew members add their flights, etc. Let’s Jetty also creates a beautiful itinerary that you and your crew can access at any time.

Designed by Nicole Martinez, a travel enthusiast, creative, artist, designer, & co-founder of Let’s Jetty (with help from her co-founders of course!) 

Our plan is to build out more in-demand features as the year goes on and we raise increased funding— we definitely need your help here! Our roadmap for the future tentatively includes:

– curated itineraries: we’ll partner with travel experts/influencers and local sources to provide you with unique itineraries that have been personally vetted and reviewed by the Let’s Jetty team. save time on research.

– suggested activities: Let’s Jetty will provide you recommendations based on your interests and preferences. it’s time to say goodbye to sites that optimize for sales &/or sell generic experiences.

– expenses tracker & splitter: keeping track of expenses can be stressful. Let’s Jetty will do it for you. we’ll be looking to integrate with payment platforms such as splitwise/venmo.

– travel booking assistance: it’s time to re-imagine the travel planning & booking experience! Get paired with travel assistants who can do the heavy lifting when it comes to logistics, such as looking into availability, calling restaurants/bars/travel experience providers to make arrangements. Planners of the group, you know this is more time-consuming than people know! this will be part of our premium services.

– premium concierge services: did you know that travel agents/concierges can book places you might not be able to book on your own? or that they also have access to discount/deals that you can’t find online? let travel concierges on Let’s Jetty’s platform save you time, while you & your crew benefits from their travel knowledge & expertise. this will be part of our premium services.

– smartBooking recommender: Let’s Jetty makes recommendations on when/how you should book flights and accommodations based on trip factors like dates, destination, group sizes & preferences, regardless of where you are in the planning process. 

Where We Are Today, Our Goals, & Future Plans

We want you to know that we are as invested as you. We’ve invested our own funds and resources to build our current prototype and the features you’ll see in our beta this summer. And we’ll continue to invest our own funds and resources. 

What these Kickstarter funds will do is help us speed up the current product and development of our app, as well as build several features that you and your fellow travelers have been asking for! 100% of the proceeds we make on Kickstarter are going to product design and development of our app (it will not even be used to cover swag costs, which we’re covering!) All of this to ensure that you get the highest quality product that meets your needs.
