We combined our extensive knowledge in industrial design and sustainability to create an eco-friendly ergonomic shoe that’s more than a fashion accessory, it’s an extension of the body. KOBI was designed for the planet and perfected for your feet!

Our shoes are industrial design products. We conceive footwear as a bionic human extension, rather than a fashion accessory. We approach product and manufacturing processes from a different background, setting us apart from other footwear brands. We believe that our different point of view will lead us to new solutions and standards, for the conception of futuristic footwear.

We apply the latest technologies and ergonomic studies, to create the best walking conditions. We create shoes that adapts to every type of foot, giving it back more levels of freedom. For instance, in our first model Kobi, we split the sole into two parts to make the walking experience as similar as possible to that of bare feet, adding degrees of freedom to both the foot torsion and bending

We only use smart, sustainable and innovative materials. We consider the whole shoes life cycle, having considered the correct recycling of used shoes. We are developing a commercial incentive, with which we will encourage customers to return us their old CRIMAGNO shoes, with credit toward their next purchase. We will take care of the correct disassembly and upcycling, of individual parts. For example, soles will be used to build athletics racetracks and the uppershoe for insulating and sound-absorbing panels for construction.  Furthermore we have reinvented the concept of shoe packaging, replacing the classic cardboard box with a comfortable shoulder strap made from 100% recycled GRS certified felt that the customer can reuse in a thousand other ways, reflecting our solid commitment to embrace eco-sustainability in every aspect of the company.  Therefore we have made it our commitment, to help absorbing C02 emissions by planting trees for each pair of shoes sold.

KOBIs are built to last! They were designed with a classic day-to-night look and will stand to the test of time. As a company it is our intention to create only few extraordinary and sustainable products, made to last longer thanks to both their quality and timeless design. We want to break the paradigm whereby a product becomes obsolete because it is no more trendy. Longevity is one of the highest parameters of modernity today.

More and more celebrities ask to wear our shoes. Karim Rashid, undoubtedly one of the most influential world designer, is one of them.  They are also worn by Rossana Orlandi, world-renowned gallerist and talent scout, and her daughter Nicoletta president of the Guiltless Plastic Prize. But also models like Lima Pam or singers like Erika Boveri and the 3-Michelin stars chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo are already wearing CRIMAGNO!

Hi there! Cristiano, Founder of CRIMAGNO, here.

Every product starts from a great idea and KOBI is no different.

I have an extensive background in industrial design and interior design and Gabriele represents the fourth generation of a historic footwear company based in Italy that has more than 70 years of history.

After over two years of research and development together, our goal was to create a fully sustainable, high-end hybrid designer shoe that’s gender-neutral. So, we combined our extensive knowledge to create KOBI, an eco-friendly and ergonomic shoe that’s more than just a fashion accessory—it’s an extension of the body.

After more than two years of Research and Development, we’re finally ready to present you the result of our work! Although our headquarters is based in Switzerland, the production of our shoes is made in Vigevano, a town located 80 km from our offices and which has always been famous for being one of the most famous footwear districts in Italy. We also pride ourselves on the fact that we work with suppliers located at a maximum of 20 km from each other in order to reduce our carbon footprint and have all the production under control.
