We have been working on innovating traditional tools with the latest smart technologies in consumer electronics. Last year, we finished our first project-MakaGiC VS01 successfully.

Today, we are back, let me introduce our new product – MakaGiC L7,The World’s First 3D-Space Laser Measure to all you dear backers.

The MakaGiC L7 may offer you the smartest measurement solution with up to nine useful measurement modes and a ALL-in-1 design – laser measure, inclinometer, level, and tachometer.Whether you’re a designer, engineer, or DIY enthusiast, the L7 will be your trusted companion.

Beyond any laser measure you’ve ever seen—whether it’s cantilever distance, height, angle, or rotational speed—what you can see around you is what the L7 can measure.

The L7 delivers outstanding repeatability, maintaining spatial measurement accuracy within the millimeter range across multiple measurements.

In reality, compared to the measurement error of L7, the actual measurement error is more often caused by human hand tremors.
All of this is based on our specially developed OMNI DIMENSION 1.0 algorithm system. OMNI DIMENSION 1.0 ranging algorithm combines high-precision angle sensing technology with high-frequency laser ranging technology. Providing you with an excellent high-precision ranging solution.

OMNI DIMENSION 1.0 combines high-precision IMU sensing technology with high-frequency laser measurement technology to realize high-precision measurements of a variety of complex data in the space environment.

This is the feature we’re most proud to introduce to you – the exclusive space measurement feature from MakaGiC. With this revolutionary feature, you no longer need to exert strenuous effort when dealing with previously difficult-to-measure cantilever lengths or the widths of foundation pits.

We believe that, just like us, you are not entirely satisfied with the classic measuring tools in your hands. They often hinder work efficiency when faced with complex measurement requirements.

But today ,with MakaGiC L7, you will no longer have to face the troubles of slipping tape measures, unreachable heights, and dark, indistinct scales.

It is the world’s first handheld spatial laser measure, based on the exclusively developed Omni Dimension 1.0 spatial ranging algorithm, which can measure the distance between any two points in three-dimensional space.

With the MakaGiC L7, you can measure the size of a distant window, the width of a carpet, and any other length you want to measure, just by standing in place.

You may have used laser measures with similar functionality before and had an unpleasant experience – limited measurement angles, large errors, having to be careful with measurements.
While the L7 can accurately measure what you need from any angle.

After our comparison, when measuring dimensions that are inaccessible (e.g., central air conditioning duct lengths, chandelier lengths, etc.), the L7 is 3 times faster than a traditional laser measure and 8 times faster than a tape measure.

Similarly, based on the Omni Dimension 1.0 ranging algorithm, we have developed a Z-axis measure mode specialized for altitude measurements, which is used to measure the difference in altitude between any two points in the direction of gravity.

When using traditional tools to measure height, you need to make sure that the datum is absolutely vertical, and once the line between the two measurement points is tilted, the accuracy of the measurement is drastically reduced.

Now in Z-axis measure mode, we are able to decouple the vertical distance from the measurement line ground angle to measure the true height difference between any two points.

All you need to do is point L7 at two points and it will automatically calculate the distance between those two points along the direction of gravity (Z-axis).

Height measurements, regardless of the complexity of the angle, are accomplished in a matter of seconds.

However, laser measurement is not a panacea. For transparent objects, such as glass products, the laser will pass straight through them. To address this issue, we have developed a coordinate measure mode that does not rely on lasers for measurement.

This is the most direct application. The high precision IMU data processed by Omni Dimension algorithm can reach cm-level accuracy.Simply move L7 from one point to another. This allows you to easily obtain the spatial displacement difference between the two points.

In addition, when dealing with complex geometric structures, the coordinate measure mode can also enhance your work efficiency – there’s no need to conduct multiple repetitive measurements;

Most distance measuring devices available on the market can only perform single-point measure function, which creates unnecessary extra work when locating specific lengths. But this issue won’t happen with the L7.

The L7 features a high-frequency laser measurement unit capable of detecting distance changes at up to 40Hz, allowing you to effortlessly obtain the length you require.

Whether it’s cutting a wood stick or drawing a line on the wall, the real-time measure function allows you to precisely control every 1mm of length.

MakaGiC L7 is not just a laser measure. Besides measuring straight-line distances, it can also handle rotational speed measurements with ease.

Whether it’s an electric saw, an electric drill, a fan, or even an engine crankshaft, L7 can be used to measure its rotational speed.

Thanks to the special laser module design, the L7 allows for remote RPM measurement up to 5m. you can conveniently measure the RPM at home, whether it’s a fan or an engine crankshaft, and now know exactly how it’s working with just a click of your hand.

For the crazy DIY enthusiasts, how could we possibly do without a spirit level and an inclinometer ? Now start forgetting about that annoying huge level, the L7 integrates both the level and inclinometer functions, yet it is only the size of an MP3.

Level
The L7’s simulated bubble display design allows you to quickly locate measurement angles without complicated thinking. Whether you’re installing flooring, leveling a 3D printer or measuring angles, the L7 will help you work worry-free.

Inclinometer
Sometimes, you may need to precisely measure angles on a plane—that’s when the inclinometer function comes in handy.

The L7 features two powerful N52 neodymium magnets, delivering dual magnetic force for exceptional holding power. Its rectangular design provides a stable flat base, enabling the L7 to securely attach to any magnetic surface.

Adjusting the angle of a drill, a cutting machine, or fixing a shelf, with magnetic attachment, all of this becomes incredibly easy.

Gravity-sensing rotary Ul gives you the first accurate reading of inclination at any angle.

Like traditional laser measure, the L7 also supports single-point measure function. The L7 laser module delivers millimeter-level precision. Simply align it with the target location and press the button to perform measurements effortlessly—faster and more accurately.

More Efficient
With our efficient algorithms, it takes only 0.5 seconds to return the results of our measurements, highly efficient and accurate.

MakaGiC L7 also has classic functions for measuring area and volume, as well as Pythagorean theorem measurement. Using L7, you can easily measure these geometric dimensions with just a few clicks of the button, freeing you from tedious calculations.

The L7 is designed with partitioned buttons to separate the function buttons from the execution buttons. Within a few minutes of getting started, you can familiarize yourself with the operation logic. Significantly reduces your learning curve.

1.3-inch color screen has simple and clear display. The user experience has been carefully sculpted and user-friendly interactive interface so you can easily get started.

The L7 is designed with an elaborate golden ratio and the curvature of the rounded surface is continuous and smooth. The grip is smooth and solid.

The aluminum frame is precision CNC machined for a delicate and flawless finish.

The L7 is equipped with our well-researched laser module, a separate data processing chip that gives the L7 much faster processing speeds than other compact laser measures, and a 650nm red laser that ensures laser accuracy even in smoky environments.

Of course, there’s no need to worry about laser safety, as the L7 still meets the IEC 60825-1 Class II safety standard.

Sometimes you will need to measure the diagonal length of a room and the square rangefinder profile doesn’t reach into the corners to find the measurement datum, so we’ve also added the MakaGiC L7 Sharp-Corner Benchmarks Measurement Module as an accessory to solve your sharp corner measurement needs.

Additionally, since handheld measurements inevitably introduce shaking that reduces measurement accuracy, we found that the camera tripod’s pan-tilt head can minimize the impact of hand-induced errors, thereby further enhancing measurement precision.
Therefore, we designed our MakaGiC L7 Sharp-Corner Benchmarks Measurement Module kit with a standard 1/4”-20 UNC threaded interface that is compatible with the vast majority of camera tripods available on the market.
To ensure flexibility in product usage, we’ve incorporated a magnetic quick-release design into the module. This allows you to detach the L7 handheld measurement data at any time while using the tripod.
