My name is Adrian. Somebody who has a dream to combine my two passions into one masterpiece. I love both guitar, and mechanical watches. Those can’t replace each other. I need to find a way to blend them together to become something. Either guitar elements on wristwatches, or vice versa. It can’t be just a printed picture, it needs to be something inspired by something else.
One day in 2018. As usual, after jamming with my guitar, I cleaned my guitar neck, and that was the moment when the idea came from. It looks like this guitar fretboard is very representative to be the surface of the watch bezel. I started to draw on a piece of paper, just to see how it looks. I want something classic, yet sporty. And finally, I am happy that I can now reveal my final watch design to you. Proudly designed in Indonesia, Legatodiver.
Our LEGATODIVER bezel is designed to stand out from the crowd, inspired by the guitar fretboard with guitar string plus other guitar detailing, meticulously aligned by a professional watchmaker, engraved in stainless steel, backfilled with Super-LumiNova® BGW9, and protected by a flat sapphire crystal. We believe that this unique look is the first of its kind in the watch world, giving us a unique and distinctive bezel design executed to perfection.
Continuing in our guitar theme with the LEGATODIVER, we felt that a fretboard-inspired bezel was not quite enough. We have also added finishing touches to our caseback inspired by the soundhole of an acoustic guitar. Finished in 316L stainless steel, the exhibition-style caseback features sapphire crystal detailed with printed guitar strings on the inside of the crystal. Just one more touch unique to the LEGATODIVER.
Music touches the soul in darkness and light, and so does the LEGATODIVER. Each watch has a generous application of Super-LumiNova®. The date wheel, crown sign, minute tracks, and even the dial (in some variants) are coated with Super-LumiNova® a finishing touch usually reserved for watches far beyond the price of the LEGATODIVER.
A date wheel with luminous is something new to apply in microbrand watches industry and even this idea has never been applied to mainstream watch brands. LEGATODIVER will be one of the dive watches to apply this distinctive idea. This is not an easy task, the date wheel must be reprinted and filled with Super-LumiNova® BGW9, but we are proud to feature this idea in our LEGATODIVER.
In the watch scene, we love to dress our watches in a pair of “new shoes” to change up the look. In order to make this easy to do with the LEGATODIVER we have provided both drilled-lug holes AND double-sided quick release pins to our solid 316L stainless steel bracelet. This way it will take less than a minute to switch out your bracelet with other straps
The LEGATODIVER is powered by the reliable Swiss Movement; Sellita Calibre SW200-1, renowned as a reliable, durable movement used by major watch brands throughout the world. With a hi-beat movement running at 28,800vph, 26 Jewels, and a power reserve of up to 38 hours being encased in our 300m water-resistant case.
Forged from 316L stainless steel tapering from 20mm to 16mm, our bracelet’s solid and fully articulating links have undergone the same proprietary hardening process as the case. With no sharp edges, robust thickness, screw-pin link adjustment, and a double-locking deployant clasp will ensure your LEGATODIVER is securely attached to your wrist at all times.
