With your help we were born right here on Kickstarter a little over 1 year ago and were fortunate to be one of Kickstarter’s Projects We Love. After successfully delivering our first campaign to over 300 backer’s in 26 countries–in the midst of a global pandemic–we’re excited to be back with our latest solution for travelers who want more out of their gear. We’re a Dallas, Texas based small family business and all of our leather goods are handcrafted in Colombia.

The León Duffel features a big clamshell opening giving you access to the entire contents of the bag. Multiple compartments make it easy to organize your clothes or other gear and we’ve divided each compartment to function independently. Three top access entry points give you quick access to each of the main compartments.

So whether you’re going on a several week trip, a few days or simply working remotely for the day, our bags were designed to look amazing and to function even better… we can’t wait to see where you take them.
Our Story
Our company was born by 2 friends who are passionate about leather goods, team sports, international cuisine and the country of Colombia. We’re avid travelers and on our feet most of the day. Combined we’ve traveled to over 50 states, 50 countries and lived in over 10.
As life long users of leather goods we found affordable products to be lacking in design, functionality, durability and honesty. To get the first 3 you’d have to pay a fortune or the 4th you’d be tricked into buying a cheaper quality product online. You’ve probably experienced this too. How frustrating it is! We decided to design and source our own raw materials.
On one trip to Colombia we discovered 3rd generation leather artisans using time-honored craftsmanship and rich materials to create exquisite leather products. What did we do? We partnered with them!
Customs & Duties
Import duties and taxes are not included in our reward levels. These charges vary by country and are completely out of our control. We are shipping our bags all over the world and it is impossible for us to build the various customs charges into the reward level through Kickstarter. But we love you.
This online tool can help you calculate duties. But please remember, we are not the creators of this tool so use this as an estimate.
Return Policy?
We stand behind our bags and will replace or repair items that fall within our warranty. However, we do not offer refunds or returns on bags / products that were received as a Kickstarter reward.
Crowdfunding is an amazing tool that allows people to get their ideas off the ground. Kickstarter is not a store and our “reward levels” are the way that we say thank you for supporting us (and trust us, we are VERY grateful). Every dollar received from this campaign will go directly into making The Leon Collection a reality.
