There are plenty of ways to make coffee—but each comes with a compromise.

Here are the three most common paths, and why they still fall short when you want real espresso.

Orbit is our answer.

It keeps what matters—real espresso and real control—while cutting the usual baggage.

No batteries. No complicated routines. Just a stable manual lever workflow you can repeat with confidence.

Café-Quality, High-Extraction Espresso

Pull a rich, high-extraction shot with real texture and depth. From straight espresso to milk drinks, Orbit gives you a café-level base to build on.

Full Pressure Profiling, in Your Hands

Control the shot in real time with a smooth, stable lever action. Pre-infuse gently, ramp up pressure, or ease off at the end—so you can dial in flavor, not just follow a fixed recipe.

54.8mm HUGH CVP Competition Filter Basket

A competition-grade espresso filter basket developed in collaboration with IMS.
The concentric variable-pitch (CVP) hole pattern promotes even water flow from center to edge, supporting balanced and consistent extraction.
Precision-rounded perforations help reduce channeling and enhance clarity, body, and overall shot consistency.
Designed for doses up to 20 g and compatible with 54.4–54.8 mm tampers.

All-Metal Build, CNC-Machined Precision

Orbit is engineered as a long-term tool—solid, minimal, and built to last. CNC-machined to tight tolerances (up to ±0.02 mm on critical parts) for a stable, satisfying workflow.

Brews Enough for Two

Orbit’s water chamber holds up to 130 ml, giving you flexibility for one strong shot or enough to share. Perfect for a quick espresso + milk drink setup—or for brewing two smaller servings in one session.

Take It Anywhere — No Batteries, No Wires

No charging routines, no cables—just pack it and pull. Orbit is built for real-world use when you’re off the grid or simply away from the kitchen.

Not only is Orbit’s design futuristic, we made sure that this product lasts you a long time with high quality steel and a standardized, replaceable basket for further down the line.

With no cables to bog you down, Orbit is delicious coffee no matter the occasion. Drink a deliciously pressed cup of coffee from the comfort of your home, or take Orbit with you during your next adventure into the great outdoors.

Never used lever espresso before? This classic device uses the power of mechanical pressure to brew a delicious cup of coffee.

Plus, compared to a noisy espresso machine, lever brewing has no mechanical noise whatsoever. All you’ll hear is the soothing sound of your coffee dripping into your cup.

Orbit also has a unique spacecraft-inspired design and an all-metal body that makes it the perfect set piece for any interior vibe.

Leverpresso Orbit uses a manual lever to generate the pressure needed to force hot water through finely ground coffee. Inside the device, a direct lever mechanism is connected to the lever arm. Once you pull the lever, it directly pushes the piston down. This motion allows hot water from the boiler to fill the brew chamber above the coffee puck.

When the lever is released, the piston pushes the water through the coffee at gradually declining pressure—starting high and tapering off—mimicking the ideal espresso extraction curve. This gives the espresso its signature smooth, balanced flavor and tactile control, and allows for the creation of expressive, nuanced shots via subtle differences of pressure.

1. Fill the basket and tamp firmly.

Dose your coffee into the basket, level it, then tamp with steady pressure.

2. Attach the cylinder and lock in the portafilter.

Seat the top cylinder securely, then lock the portafilter into the body.

3. Add hot water and preheat.

Fill the brew chamber with hot water, then let the device warm up for better temperature stability.

4. Lift the lever and prepare for extraction

Slowly lift the lever upwards, then fill the remainer of the cylinder with water to complete the setup process.

5. Press down and extract.

Press the lever down in a controlled motion and extract about 10–30 seconds, watching the flow as espresso drips into your cup.

1. Disassemble the body and rinse each part with warm water.

2. If any stains or residual coffee remain, use a brush or other cleaning supplies for a deeper clean.

3. Lay parts out to air dry.

We replaced the internal chamber of Leverpresso Pro with an open air design so you can drip coffee right into your favorite cup.

Orbit features a larger 54.8 mm basket size, engineered specifically for espresso.

The wider format supports more even water flow and higher extraction efficiency, helping you pull cleaner, more consistent shots.

It’s also designed to work with multiple 54 mm basket heights, so you can swap depths and styles to match your dose and recipe without being locked into one setup.

The pressure gauge was already excellent, but it now features a more refined exterior finish and improved measurement precision, giving you clearer and more confident control in every shot.

Inspired by the design of rocket ships, we softened Leverpresso Orbit’s sharp edges and created a more streamlined, vertical profile for a compact look on the counter and a smoother, more refined feel in your hand.

Orbit is built to be fully serviceable—down to the cylinder and piston—so you can thoroughly clean every coffee-contact surface. Open it up, rinse away oils and fine grounds, and inspect key parts in seconds. Less residue buildup, easier maintenance, and more consistent performance over time.

Plus so much more!

Read on to find out how Leverpresso Orbit takes our backer favorite lever coffee and elevates it to a galactic scale!

In the 1950s, espresso wasn’t made with buttons—it was made by feel. Fully manual lever machines turned brewing into a ritual: a tactile, emotional process where the fun wasn’t just the cup, but the pull itself. That’s where Leverpresso began.

We weren’t satisfied with merely replicating the past.

While preserving the unique sensation and intent of lever espresso, we decided to rethink everything else from the ground up. We wanted it more modern, more refined, and more compact—designed to blend seamlessly into our daily lives.

One conviction captivated us during development: the weighty, classic lever experience doesn’t need to be tethered to a kitchen corner. So, we sculpted a form that allows you to truly carry that tactile joy anywhere. That is why the Leverpresso Orbit was born.

In truth, Orbit is less of a “new model” and more of a definitive statement on how far a portable lever machine can evolve. From the perfect balance in your hand and the visceral feedback of building pressure, to how naturally it fits into your routine.

We have no desire to overstate or exaggerate. However, we can promise you this: everything we wanted to say about lever espresso is embodied within this compact machine.

Orbit doesn’t try to explain itself with words. Just pull the lever yourself. In that moment, you will understand everything we left unsaid.
