Marblelous is the first marble run that combines smart High-Tech tricks with old-school gravitational fun! Our Starter-Set (good for 10m of track) contains all the connectors, tracks and level switchers imaginable to build amazing marble runs almost anywhere: on vertical flat surfaces like windows, mirrors, whiteboards, kitchen cabinets, etc… You can also use Marblelous in the garden or sandbox. And with the special universal mount, it’s even compatible with LEGO® — so if you’ve got a pile of bricks lying around, you can put them to good use in your track!
By adding our Smart-Tricks, you can take your creations to an entirely new level:
Drop marbles onto the track, detect their color and speed, lift them to create endless loops, switch their direction, or even teleport them across the world.
You can even sync your contraption to the internet — opening the door to automations, smart home integration, and real-time global interaction. With Marblelous, anything is possible!

Just a few days after the launch, all the hard work from the past five years was rewarded in the best possible way: Marblelous won the Red Dot Design Awards 2025 — one of the most prestigious design awards in the world. Something my team and I are incredibly proud of!
Every reward comes with a Starter-Set, this contains all the connectors, tracks, mounts (such as the suction cups), carriers and level switchers you need to start building mighty structures. In fact, the Starter-Set alone has over 500 parts!

2️⃣ Add the tracks. These are included in the Starter-Set, but you can also add your own. Any tube or straw with a 6mm diameter works!

Start the adventure with a tap on the illuminated arrow — or straight from our app, where you can even customize its colors to match your style.
Connect it to your home network or even to the internet and trigger automations, smart home actions, or entire chain reactions with lights, sounds, and movement. Seamlessly links with all Smart-Tricks — built to ignite your imagination and launch your Marblelous experience in style.
Very cool unique features for the Marble Dropper
We’ve added some really cool extra features to the Marble Dropper — you can now trigger it in four different ways via dropmymarble.com:
- Directly from the website
- By generating a unique QR code
- By sending an email to your unique Dropper address: your_unique_dropper-ID@dropmymarble.com
- By placing a button on your own website — the platform even generates the HTML code for you. Super simple!
Spiral Lift – Take your marbles to new heights
Imagine your marble run defying gravity, reaching new heights and creating endless loops. That’s the Marble Spiral Lift! This ingenious device lifts your marbles, allowing you to build tracks with continuous flows.
The motorized Spiral activates automatically when a marble enters, lifting it upward before pausing until the next marble arrives — creating an elegant, endless loop. Use it in 2D wall setups or full 3D builds. Stack up to 3 spirals for extra height and excitement.
Fully compatible with the Marblelous Starter-Set and seamlessly integrated with the app for advanced control — including the ability to set the number of stacked spirals — and smart automations.
Wheel Lift – Smooth, automated elevation in 3D
Imagine a futuristic mechanism that effortlessly lifts your marbles to new heights, adding motion, energy, and vertical thrill to your 3D builds.
That’s the Marble Wheel — a brilliantly engineered Smart-Trick that brings a whole new layer of excitement to your Marblelous experience, all configurable in the app.
Lane Switch – Take control of the flow
Send marbles left or right manually, based on their color, or fully automated via the app. Trigger branching paths, create clever puzzles, or build smart sequences where marbles make their own decisions.
Works in both 2D wall setups and 3D landscapes, and fits seamlessly into the Marblelous Starter-Set. Smart, flexible, and full of possibilities — the Lane Switch puts you in control.
Teleporter Set – Break the rules of spacetime
Defy distance and bend the rules of space! The Teleporter Set lets you magically “teleport” your marbles from one location to another, creating mind-bending journeys and expanding the possibilities of your Marblelous creations. This Smart-Trick fundamentally redefines what a marble run can be — and it does so with dazzling light effects and cool sounds that make every teleportation feel like a moment straight out of science fiction.
Connect two Marblelous tracks, even in different rooms or across the globe (yes, really!), as long as there’s Wi-Fi. The Teleporter adds a magical twist to any build, seamlessly integrates with the Starter-Set, and transforms your marble runs into mind-blowing experiences.
As soon as you take the Teleporters out of the box, they’re already paired and ready to go. Want to link your Teleporter with someone else’s? No problem — just connect them in the app with a few simple taps! It’s more than just a trick — it’s the moment your marble breaks the laws of physics!
Marble Detector – The brain behind the action
The Marble Detector is the intelligent underdog of your Marblelous world!
It’s not just a sensor, it’s the brain of your Marblelous creation! The Marble Detector goes beyond simple detection, triggering a series of actions that bring your marble runs to life. All configurable in the Marblelous app.
Trigger Smart-Tricks, flash your Track LEDs, sync with Philips Hue, or play sounds through your Sonos or the internal speaker — all from the moment a marble passes by.
Use it as a checkpoint, a dramatic finisher, or even a speed tracker that measures how fast your marble is racing through the track. Works seamlessly in both 2D and 3D builds and integrates perfectly with the Starter-Set. It’s not just sensing — it’s full-on marble intelligence.
Every Smart-Trick can both be battery operated with 3x AAA batteries, or powered through USB-C. They come with Wi-Fi and through the Marblelous app, they can be connected to each other or for example to your entire smart home universe!
Easily take your builds to the next level
Our fully-featured Marblelous app makes it super easy to control and customize your marble run like never before. Effortlessly drop marbles, switch lanes and trigger your Smart-Tricks with just a tap. Customize everything — from how long the Spiral spins, to the color of the LEDs and the sounds they make. Each Smart-Trick has its own speaker, so you can even upload your own MP3-files that will play when a marble is being detected!
Whether you’re creating simple interactions or complex chain reactions, the app gives you full control to bring your imagination to life.
You can also set up awesome automations to link your Philips Hue, Sonos, Nanoleaf, and many other smart home devices with Marblelous! Even better, connect your Smart-Tricks to each other or to the internet so they can be triggered by a QR-code, website, email, or many other cool ways!
Awesome new features are constantly being added — not just in the app, but also in the Smart-Tricks. You can update their firmware directly and very easily through the app.
Marble Labs – Levels
If you’re ever short on inspiration, jump into our built-in “Levels” or explore the comprehensive Marblelous Wiki to spark new ideas. It’s all about giving you endless ways to play, create, and innovate!
OCI-port(Open Creator Interface extension port)
While you can create fantastic marble runs (at your own difficulty level) right out of the box, for those who want to push the limits of creativity, we offer our OCI-port which creates endless possibilities. This is really just an extra for the super tech-savvy nerd who enjoys tinkering under the hood.
With a 3D-printer and some tech know-how, you can design and build your own Smart-Tricks. Simply connect a motor, servo, or LED-strip and control it within the Marblelous ecosystem. We even provide ready-to-print 3D files to get you started right away. Create your own components to launch, time, dose, or reroute your marbles!
Web-Interface / API / file manager
Each Smart-Trick has its own web interface and a powerful, fully featured API.
It also includes a built-in file manager, allowing you to upload files like MP3 sound effects or custom HTML pages with your own images and JavaScript.
This opens up a world of creative possibilities — from reading out the speed or color of a marble to remotely controlling the Marble Dropper or Lane Switch. You can even build your own High-Tech, geeky dashboard to control and monitor your setup.
Below is an example of a custom dashboard that you can create — for example with the help of ChatGPT. Here, you can view all kinds of statistics, such as the number of marbles dropped, the current arrow color (which you can also change from here), and any error messages. You’ll also find tons of advanced metrics — like available disk space on your Smart-Trick, memory usage, MQTT connections, and much more…
Custom user created game interfaces
With the help of ChatGPT (you can probably tell from the background image, right?😉), you can quickly build a game interface with a Start (the Marble Dropper) and a Finish (the Marble Detector), and have them work together seamlessly. With a single press of a button, your track starts running — measuring its track time, counting laps, and finally displaying the finishing speed of your marble!
