About the design of Solution-01 :

How does a solar watch work?

The solar panel under the dial receives light and converts them into electrical energy and store in the secondary battery, which can be recharged thousands of times before a battery replacement.

Environmentally friendly – Significantly longer battery change intervals than quartz watches.
Incredibly reliable – Go around the world without being powerless for 180 days after one full charge.

Case : Minimal, yet architectural and utilitarian.

With a design language that emphasises simplicity, our minimalist approach gives Solution-01 a contemporary vision while retaining an essential charm.

The 40mm diameter case is 9.7mm thick and constructed of 316L Stainless Steel with a brushed finish, creating a thin, lightweight design that’s comfortable for both men and women to wear, while remaining unobtrusive and ready for duty. A high-polish chamfer on the bezel adds an air of elegance to the case.

The architectural lug design provides a sleek and minimalistic look, while the industrial crown complements the style of the watch. A dense and scratch resistant sapphire-coated crystal enhances durability, along with an anti-reflective treatment for optimal clarity. The solid stainless steel case back is etched with the specification of this watch.

Dial: It’s solar power that makes it art-like.

In Solution-01, we redesigned solar watches and encapsulate the art of solar energy into the design. Over the solar panel of the movement features a patterned translucent dial, which is inspired by the structure of the design of solar power plants.

Side notes: The CSP (Concentrated Solar Power) – The dial design of Solution-01 (Black) is inspired by the arrangement of the heliostat mirror of CSP. The mirror is arranged in a calculated pattern to reflect light to the central tower, resulting in a futuristic, sci-fi like landscape.

Straps: Designed to be adaptive, and comfortable.

We have designed an ultra-adaptable and comfortable strap that is sure to impress. The strap is designed to be both functional and stylish with its easy-wearing clasp. The leather features premium quality leather, with contrasting tack stitchings that simply add a slight highlight to the style.

Our nylon strap is made from durable and washable materials to ensure a comfortable and long-lasting fit. The buckle complements the design of the watch and provides added security for when you’re active and on the move. We offer 2 sizes (M & L) for small and large wrist size.
