Mstick4 : Unlock Your Car Display’s Full Potential

Waze, Netflix, YouTube, Spotify, and more — Bring all your favorite apps to your car display!

Most vehicle displays only support very limited entertainment options such as radio and Bluetooth music. While newer car models support OTT services, they are blocked while driving.

Some people mount smartphones or tablets to access various apps or watch videos while driving, but smartphones need to be mounted every time you enter the vehicle, which is inconvenient, and tablets are difficult to keep mounted due to the issue of staying powered on even after the engine is turned off.

Additionally, if a mounted device falls, the process of picking it up increases the risk of accidents. Mounts and wired connections also tend to make the dashboard cluttered and messy.

More tech-savvy users might use Apple CarPlay or Google Android Auto, but even then, the available apps are limited to navigation and music apps. Furthermore, you have to connect a USB cable every time you enter the vehicle, and with frequent use, the connectors wear out, leading to frequent disconnections.

Mstick4 is an Android stick PC for cars that transforms your vehicle’s display into an Android tablet simply by connecting Mstick4 to the car’s USB port. This means you can run a wide range of apps from the Play Store directly on the large car display, including Google Maps, Waze, YouTube, and Netflix.

It also seamlessly integrates with various essential vehicle features, such as Bluetooth hands-free, voice commands using the microphone, and GPS, making your driving experience more enjoyable and convenient.

To use Mstick4, your vehicle only needs to support phone projection. Since Mstick4 is equipped with its own CPU, memory, and OS, it operates independently from your smartphone. This means it can be used with both iPhones and Android phones, regardless of the type of smartphone you have.

No more spending a lot of money to replace your car’s navigation system or mounting a tablet just to watch YouTube in your vehicle.

Simply plug Mstick4 into your car’s USB port, and you can not only listen to the radio or music but also run all OTT players, including YouTube, Netflix, and Disney+, right on your car’s display.

And yes, you can do this while using Google Maps for navigation at the same time!

Unlike smartphone mounts, where you have to place your phone on the holder every time you enter the vehicle, Mstick4 only needs to be plugged into the car’s USB port.

While smartphone mounts can clutter your dashboard, Mstick4’s compact size allows for easy installation even in limited spaces, and its sleek design blends well with the vehicle’s interior.

Mstick4 powers on automatically when the driver enters the vehicle, and it powers off a few minutes after the doors are locked, as the car’s USB port shuts down. This eliminates the worry of draining the car battery.

CarPlay and Android Auto are features that project your smartphone’s screen onto the car’s display.

While they allow you to run smartphone apps on the vehicle screen, they only support a limited number of apps, such as navigation and music. Even for the supported apps, they provide only limited features with a simplified user interface.

Mstick4, on the other hand, is equipped with a powerful CPU and its own OS, allowing you to run not only navigation, OTT, and business apps but also 3D games, along with all other apps from the Play Store, right on your car’s display in their full form.

Since the launch of the first generation in 2020, Mstick has been used over 7.8 million times in Korea alone, with more than 40,000 drivers using it daily.
Although there are imported competing products in Korea, Mstick continues to dominate the market due to its superior stability and compatibility with vehicles and apps, securing the #1 market share in this category.

The previous generation, Mstick3, is the best-selling device in the automotive category on Korea’s largest e-commerce platform, Naver Shopping. Since its launch in July 2023, it has received over 7,000 reviews with an impressive average rating of 4.83 stars.

Mstick4 is equipped with a CPU, Memory, and OS, allowing it to install and run apps independently. Simply put, it’s like an Android smartphone without a screen or battery.
You can run almost all apps from the Google Play Store directly on your car display, including navigation apps like Google Maps and Waze, as well as streaming apps such as YouTube and Netflix.
Additionally, with the latest mobile chipset, you can connect a game controller and enjoy the latest games smoothly.

Mstick4 operates independently of smartphones, meaning you can use it regardless of whether you have an Apple iPhone or a Samsung Galaxy.
Your smartphone can connect to Mstick4 to enhance its functionality. By installing the Mstick4 companion app on your phone, you can remotely control Mstick4, change the background, and access various extended features.

With an integrated LTE modem, Mstick4 provides standalone internet access without the need for a smartphone hotspot.

By using Mstick4, you can create a mobile hotspot zone within your vehicle, allowing passengers’ smartphones or other smart devices in the car to connect to the internet through Mstick4.

Even without a USIM, Mstick4 can connect to the internet via a smartphone hotspot.
But when using a phone’s hotspot, there is usually the inconvenience of having to activate the hotspot every time you enter the vehicle. Additionally, even with an unlimited data plan, the tethering data allowance is often limited.
Mstick4’s Easy Hotspot feature automatically connects to your smartphone’s hotspot when Mstick4 powers on and allows you to use the full data capacity provided by your mobile plan for tethering.

Note: Currently, the Easy Hotspot feature is only supported on Android phones. For iPhones, you can use a shortcut to automatically activate the hotspot.

The Sound Studio app, powered by advanced software audio DSP, allows you to fully customize and optimize your in-car audio experience!

12 Basic Presets
We provide 12 genre-specific presets as well as Acoustic, Ballad, Jazz, and more. Simply select a preset, and it will be applied to the entire Mstick4 audio system, allowing you to experience enhanced audio across all apps, including music apps and OTT apps like Netflix.

10-Channel Dual Equalizer
Adjust 10 different frequency bands corresponding to vocal and various key instrument ranges. You can also separately control the Left and Right channels to improve instrument separation and spatial sound quality.

Multi-Band Compressor
Adjust the dynamic range of audio to deliver balanced sound. This feature is especially useful in noisy environments, such as a vehicle, where it helps you hear more refined audio details.

Share Custom Presets
You can download presets created by users or experts who own the same vehicle model and apply them to your Mstick4. Additionally, you can share your custom presets with other Mstick4 users.

Automatic Car Audio Tuning
Since the audio characteristics of each vehicle are unique, detailed tuning according to the car’s audio system can significantly enhance sound quality. The ‘Auto Tune’ feature in the ‘Sound Studio’ app analyzes the audio characteristics of your vehicle and automatically creates the optimal preset for the best sound experience.

The audio characteristics of a vehicle can vary due to factors such as the number and quality of the speakers, the performance of the amplifier, and the vehicle’s internal structure. Mstick4 features an audio tuning capability that plays and records test signals to analyze the vehicle’s audio characteristics. It then automatically generates an optimal preset to compensate for any shortcomings in the audio system.

Even if you’re not an audio expert, Mstick4’s audio tuning function makes it easy to maximize the potential of your vehicle’s audio system.

Mgears Go is a smartphone companion app that connects to Mstick4 and provides various additional features. It is compatible with both iPhone and Android devices. The app allows you to easily monitor the status of your Mstick, access the user manual, and connect with the community.

Mirror to Phone
The ‘Mirror to Phone‘ feature lets you view the Mstick screen on your smartphone, enabling passengers in the back seat to control the device. You can also use Mstick anywhere by simply powering it with a USB charger, whether at home or in the office. This feature allows you to conveniently manage Mstick settings outside the car, such as installing multiple apps or troubleshooting, without having to operate it in a confined car space.

Mstick Quick Settings
Adjusting the screen brightness or changing the position of the navigation bar while using a navigation app can cause you to miss important directions. ‘Mstick Quick Settings’ allows you to manage key features such as screen brightnessindividual app volume levels, and navigation bar position from your smartphone, functioning like a remote control, so you don’t have to interact with the vehicle’s display directly.

Mstick Background Image Settings

Changing the background image on Mstick usually requires navigating through multiple vehicle screen controls, especially if you want to set a family or pet photo stored on your smartphone. With the ‘Background Image Settings’ feature, you can instantly set an image from your smartphone as the Mstick background. It also offers a variety of default background images.

Mstick4’s split-screen mode lets you make the most of your car’s display by running your navigation app on one side and entertainment apps like music or YouTube on the other. This way, you can stay on track while enjoying your favorite content.

Whether you’re navigating with Google Maps, listening to your playlist, or catching up on a podcast, Mstick4 keeps everything in view.
Using split-screen mode is easy. Just tap the split-screen button on the navigation bar or use the ‘Split Screen Maker’ app to quickly set up your preferred app combination.

Switching between apps is just as simple—double-tap the center divider to swap the left and right apps instantly.

Mstick4 offers an app called ‘Split Screen Maker’, which creates shortcuts to your preferred split-screen setups with a single tap. Launching these shortcuts instantly arranges your screen to the selected configuration.

Additionally, even apps that don’t natively support split-screen, like Netflix, can run in split-screen mode on Mstick4.

When using navigation apps on a vehicle display, the pinch-to-zoom function with two fingers is essential. Without multi-touch support, zooming in and out on maps becomes impossible, making navigation significantly inconvenient.

Mstick4 is the only product among its competitors that supports multi-touch.
Additionally, when watching videos, if there is a lot of empty space on the screen, the zoom-in feature allows you to fill the display for a more immersive viewing experience.

Powerful Computing Performance
Equipped with an SoC that outperforms not only the previous generation Mstick but also competing products, Mstick4 ensures smooth and responsive app performance.

Ample Storage Capacity
With LPDDR4X 6GB RAM, 128GB UFS storage, and support for microSD cards up to 1TB, Mstick4 can seamlessly run a variety of apps needed in the car environment.

60FPS Frame Rate Support

While competing products are limited to a frame rate of only 30FPS, Mstick is the only product line that supports up to 60FPS. You can easily compare the difference by watching a 60FPS test video on YouTube, and you’ll see how Mstick4 maintains smooth and fluid motion without dropping frames.
To experience even more vivid visuals and seamless app performance, simply enable the ‘Smooth Motion’ option. This feature ensures a superior viewing experience, whether you’re watching videos or using any app on your car display.

4G LTE Support
With an integrated LTE modem, Mstick4 provides standalone internet access without the need for a smartphone hotspot.

Reliable Design for Harsh Vehicle Environments
Mstick4 is equipped with a cooling fan to maintain stable performance even in the heat of summer. It also offers a low-noise mode for users sensitive to sound.

Some vehicles use audio buffering to ensure stable playback. This can cause the audio to lag behind the video during video playback. The ‘Audio/Video Sync Adjustment’ feature provides precise synchronization control, allowing you to accurately align the audio and video for a seamless experience.

FOTA (Firmware Over The Air)
FOTA allows firmware updates to be distributed wirelessly. Mstick supports FOTA, enabling easy updates with just a simple app launch.
Additionally, it supports incremental updates, so only the changed parts of the firmware are downloaded, typically in MBs rather than GBs. This eliminates the need to download entire multi-GB files.
In contrast, competitor products do not support incremental updates, requiring users to consume large amounts of mobile data to download full firmware updates.

Since the first-generation Mstick was launched in 2020, it has been on the market for over four years, during which it has undergone testing on hundreds of vehicle models. Today, it operates reliably in nearly all vehicles worldwide. Furthermore, Mstick4 ensures compatibility not only with various vehicle display ratios but also with essential vehicle functions such as steering wheel buttons, hands-free calling, car radios, GPS, and microphones, offering users a smooth and integrated experience.

When receiving a call while using Mstick4, the caller’s information will be displayed. If media was playing before the call, it will pause during the call and resume once the call ends. For added privacy, you can enable the privacy mode, which hides the caller information.

Users with ample mobile data can easily use streaming apps like YouTube Music, but for those who want to save data, the vehicle’s FM radio is a great alternative.
Using both the vehicle’s FM radio and an Android device based on phone projection requires a deep understanding of the vehicle’s audio system.
Navigation apps and FM radio should work simultaneously, but FM radio and YouTube Music should not.
Among similar products, Mstick is the only one that supports the use of the vehicle’s FM radio during operation.
