PawSwing is the brainchild of Andrew Tian, a dynamic entrepreneur with a background in automation and a talent for technology development. His passion for innovation has earned him remarkable success in prestigious robotics competitions, including RoboMaster, the NXP Smart Car Challenge, and the Chinese Engineering Robot Contest.
In the summer of 2019, while heading home from the robotics lab, Andrew heard a faint meow. Following the sound, he found a small kitten, covered in mud, huddled in a corner. Without hesitation, he took the kitten to the vet for a thorough checkup. He named the kitten Orange, and from that moment, Orange became an important part of Andrew’s life, sparking a new chapter.
As Orange grew, he began shedding more frequently, and grooming became a challenge. Every time Andrew tried to comb his fur, Orange would fiercely resist—biting, scratching, or trying to escape. This made Andrew wonder: are all cats resistant to grooming? To find out, he visited other cat owners and conducted a survey. The results showed that more than half of the cats exhibited strong resistance to grooming, often with mild aggression.
