PERLIE redefines the age-old uncomfortable, hard and heavy men’s shoe by adding unique patented insight sneaker technology. Over the course of three years we completely redesigned traditional men’s shoes and improved them in about 10 points, to create the most comfortable men’s shoes in the world.

CORE COLLECTION

Our core collection consists of the most classic styles and colours, including Chelsea boots, derby shoes, and monk straps. With these classics you simply can’t go wrong. Combining style with our unique comfort, these are a must-have!

CHELSEA BOOTS

We have 13 different Chelsea boots in our collection! Our collection ranges from classic black Chelsea boots, to the brightest of beige and everything in between. As our Chelsea boots are fully cushioned and extremely softly lined, they offer an unapparelled level of comfort that you will not find in any Chelsea boots on the market. 

DRESS SHOES

Our collection of dress shoes consists of some very classic models and some bolder styles, such as our Oxfords with a crocodile print. Our dress shoes provide additional cushioning and support at the back of the heel, around your ankles and on top of your feet forming a true soft cushion for your feet. 

BOOTS

Our current boot collection, consists mainly of derby (chukka) boots. We have boots in both leather and soft suede. Fully cushioned and covering your ankles, these boots are a great choice for the colder seasons and spring. In the near future we are also expanding our collection with more rugged boots.

HANDCRAFTED WITH WESTERN EUROPEAN MATERIALS ONLY

All PERLIEs are handcrafted in a third generation shoe workshop in Porto, Portugal. In fact, all materials we use are made within Western Europe, to ensure excellent working conditions and to limit our environmental impact. Most of our craftsmen have been working in the footwear industry for decades, with incredible passion and dedication. The entire process is still done by hand including the cutting of the leather, the stitching and the application of the patina. As a result each and every of our shoes is unique. Since the shoes are finished by hand, every pair is slightly different and most certainly one of a kind. 

At PERLIE, we do everything we can to run our business as sustainable as possible.

Together we can reforest the most needed areas, and support local communities by providing employment, water and food resources.

In addition, our sustainability program consists of the following:

•  All materials we use are made in Western Europe only 
•  All packaging materials we use are made from recycled materials only 
•  When available, we opt for green transportation 
•  Producing in Western Europe means that our workers receive good wages and they work under excellent labor conditions. 

General: We’d recommend to choose one size up. 

Half Sizes: If you typically wear ½ sizes, we recommend sizing up.

Full Sizes: If you typically wear a full size, we recommend choosing one size up for the best possible fit and comfort.

Meet our two founding brothers: Sep and Daniël. Sep studied law and economics and later worked as a tax lawyer and lecturer in law. 

Daniël studied engineering and as an engineer he is the technical brain behind PERLIE. 

The idea behind PERLIE was born while they were still in college. It then took another three years of R & D to perfect the shoes through numerous samples and fine tweaking. 

Besides offering the best possible product, it is our mission to run our brand as sustainably as possible. We therefore use recycled materials were possible and only source our materials from within Western Europe to limit our ecological footprint. In addition, we support causes with every shoe sold. Among these good causes are also charities that focus on planting trees all over the world.
