✈️ SHIPPING & TAXES

Shipping won’t be charged during the campaign, but later via the Pledge Manager, once we know your exact pledge, location, and any add-ons you picked. This lets us give you accurate, optimized rates.

We’re offering customs-friendly shipping to 🇪🇺 EU, 🇺🇸 USA, 🇬🇧 UK, 🇨🇦 Canada, 🇦🇺 Australia, and 🇳🇿 New Zealand. That means taxes and import duties are included in your shipping fee. You won’t have to deal with customs or unexpected charges — everything will be prepaid and handled by us.

📌 Important: Shipping prices do not include applicable taxes or potential US tariffs. These will be displayed in the PledgeBox pledge manager after the campaign ends, based on your shipping location. We’ll always be transparent about what you’ll pay.

The prices shown during the campaign are estimates based on current rates. Final shipping costs will depend on your country, how many games you order, and any extras you add. You’ll see the exact amount in the Pledge Manager before payment. Due to global fluctuations and potential tariff changes (especially in the US), shipping costs may slightly adjust before fulfillment. If that happens, we’ll absorb as much as we can and always keep you informed. Transparency first.

Some remote areas (like the Canary Islands, Madeira, Gibraltar, etc.) may have different rates. If your country isn’t listed or you’re unsure, message us before pledging. We currently can’t ship to Russia or other restricted regions — a forwarding address will be needed.

Make sure to enter a correct, up-to-date shipping address in the Pledge Manager. If the address is wrong or incomplete and your package is returned, we may ask you to cover the reshipment fee. If it’s our mistake, we’ll fix it — no questions asked. You can cancel or change your pledge during the campaign. After the campaign ends, refunds are possible but subject to a 15% fee (Kickstarter, payment, and pledge manager costs). Once the Pledge Manager closes, no refunds or cancellations will be accepted.

We are Plakks, a board game company from Barcelona, founded by two childhood friends: Jordi Domínguez Tholen and Haritz Múgica Sánchez. What started in 2019 as a homemade idea in a garage has become a growing company on a mission to bring people together through simple and exciting games.

Our first creation, Plakks Football, was born from a wooden prototype and quickly found success across Europe—eventually even being played by Leo Messi himself. That moment was a turning point, confirming what we believed from day one: physical, screen-free games still have the power to connect people like nothing else.

I’m Jordi, co-founder of Plakks. After earning a degree in Industrial Design Engineering, launching an e-commerce venture, and a stint at BIC learning how big ideas become real products, I turned to what I enjoy most: designing tabletop games. Every sketch, prototype, and play-test starts—and ends—on my desk. Alongside my partner Haritz, I handle strategy, logistics, and the other everyday nuts and bolts that keep Plakks running. Our goal is simple: craft well-made games that bring people together and stay fun for years to come.

I’m Haritz. After getting a degree in Business Administration I studied a Marketing Masters in the US, ten years ago. Later on, I founded my first startup in the Digital Business. Overall, I worked in three more startups based in Barcelona, and then, I started Plakks. I’m currently working full-time in Plakks.
