There are hundreds of dirty dice games out there. We wanted to make a game that combines the randomness of rolling a twenty sided (or other) die with the leveling up and customization aspects of Dungeons and Dragons and World of Warcraft. That is why we created the Talent Tree and put it at the heart of the game.

The Talent Tree allows you to choose how you progress, and the game changes based on your decisions. Want more tame actions? Go the Angelic path. Want more punishments? Go the Succubus path. Thus couples evolve and grow together.

We also wanted to create a sex game that actually had good writing and graphics. Kate Aaron (writer of over 60 romance novels) and Adam Simpson (user experience designer for Disney games) did an amazing job with the writing, giving the game its personality and voice. Frank Harmon (artist who worked on Facebook’s Farmville) created a beautiful user interface and phenomenal art. Jared Yamamoto is an artist who designed the original talents and they themselves are works of art.

1. Start by selecting the decks you want to play with. Example: Simmer, Blaze, Lava Sutra. Then hit the PLAY button.

2. Appetizer Round – You and your partner take turns spinning the wheel to land on random foreplay actions. The game offers spices that you can buy in order to change the action you land on; change the duration of an action; re-spin to a punishment; re-spin your partner to a punishment and more. The goal of the Appetizer Round is to get you turned on for the Entree+Dessert round.

3. Entree+Dessert Round – Spin the Entree slot machine to randomly get a sex action. Move to the Dessert slot machine wheels to randomly get an orgasm action. Perform the actions and if finished you click on the FINISH button.

4. Level up using the Talent Tree- Collect experience points (xp) based upon the amount and quality of the actions you performed in the Appetizer, Entree and Dessert rounds. Get enough xp to level up. Every time you level up you can chose your path and unlock a single talent on the talent tree.

Couples can play up to 10 Appetizer rounds before moving on to the grand finale with up to three Entrees and Desserts selected at random from a reel of opportunity.

Then it’s time to reward your progress! The more you play, the more experience points you get, the more spices you earn and a chance to level up. Every time you level up you can choose your path and unlock a path in the talent tree.

Halos and Sins is the first couples’ game to feature a talent tree, uniquely enabling you to level up your skills and unlock more of what you like (and ditch the things you don’t). Will you be an Angel or a Succubus between the sheets? Each path unlocks its own treasures, from extra nightly rewards and epic booty to your very own nice or naughty deck, so choose wisely. Angels prefer to play sweet and tender, while the Succubus route delivers more toe-curling punishments.
