Story

Do you fidget with your knife while watching TV?
Do you open and close your knife 100 times a day, just to feel its action?
Do your hands never stop moving—always reaching for something to mess with?

You inspire SPARK.

We create EDC knives that are both practical and enjoyable to use—tools that spark joy.

Born at the beginning of 2025, SPARK is a brand backed by 20 years of manufacturing experience, now fused with young and playful design.
Our goal? To light up a small spark of joy in everyday life, and bring something new to this market.

Meet SPARK Spin—our very first creation. Built with the community from Day 1, tested by real lovers.

M390 blade. Titanium handle. Built-in 2 mode spinner.

Premium materials? That’s a given. Outstanding knife performance that won’t let you down—that’s basic.
What’ll surprise you is the fidgetability. A 2-mode spinner, built-in for the fidgeter’s dream—that’s the bonus.

So… why put a spinner on a knife?

“You can fidget with it without opening the blade. I don’t have to worry about cutting myself.”

That’s the one sentence we heard the most during testing. Whether you’re bored on the couch or out in public, you can interact with your favorite knife—without drawing attention or risking injury. It’s safe, low-key, and deeply satisfying. We wanted to make a knife more fidgetable than ever before.

SPARK Spin is more than a knife. It’s an experience.

When you pick up the Spin, your first thought might be: “What is this thing?”

Naturally, your thumb finds the edge of the gear. You try spinning it.
Click—click. The crisp, stepped feedback draws your attention.

Next, you notice the bottom.
Is it a lock? You push it.

The gear switches modes. The stepped feedback disappears.
Now a gentle flick sends it spinning for seconds.
Whirr—  that’s interesting.

Then your finger touches the flipper, slightly curved on top.
With the satisfying action and a clean blade snap,
this knife transitions from a fidget toy to a precise cutting tool.

“It’s built for play and fidgeting… do they treat this as a toy? Is it still a good knife?”
You might wonder that.
Here comes the serious performance—

61HRC M390 Blade: Sharp, Hard, Durable

Often called a “super steel,” Böhler M390 has become a favorite in the knife community for one simple reason: it holds an edge extremely well. Thanks to its outstanding wear resistance, it maintains the shape of the cutting edge even under frequent use. We didn’t just stop at the steel. We paired it with deep cryo-vacuum heat treatment, carefully controlled to reach ~61 HRC hardness while keeping the right balance of toughness. It’s strong, but not brittle.

So what does that mean for you? Whether you’re slicing packages, prepping food while camping, or tackling daily tasks, this blade is always ready. And thanks to its superb corrosion resistance, it won’t stain or dull even in wet or humid conditions.

Grade 5 Titanium Handle: Strong, Light

There’s a reason so many premium EDC tools use Grade 5 titanium: it’s strong yet lightweight. It gives the SPARK Spin a solid, confident feel without weighing down your pocket. And let’s be honest: titanium feels amazing.

The handle design blends aesthetics with ergonomics. It’s shaped to fit your hand naturally and milled to the smallest tolerances with 0.01mm CNC precision. The moment you touch it, you’ll notice the fine milled lines and the smooth matte surface. It’s built to last. Day after day, year after year, this is a tool meant to be used, carried, and appreciated. The more you handle it, the more it becomes yours.

Frame Lock: Secure and Safe

A good knife should never surprise you in the wrong way. That’s why we chose a full titanium frame lock—trusted for its strength, simplicity, and safety. Every time you deploy the blade, the frame lock clicks into place with confidence. It holds firm when the blade is open, and releases cleanly when you’re done. You can flip, cut, fidget without second-guessing safety.

Multiple Ways to Open: Thumb Stub or Flipper to Open

Opening a knife is part of the joy. SPARK Spin gives you both a flipper and a thumb stud. The action is tuned: fast, smooth, crisp. Every finger finds its spot. During beta testing, our action was one of the most praised features.Testers told us the flipper reminds them of flicking a Zippo. You’ll get it once you try. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or a first-time carrier, this deployment system feels great—and more importantly, feels safe.

Packaging & Custom Engraving: Moment of SPARK

Unboxing matters. The moment starts when you open it. Pull the tray and a small gear spins behind the window. It’s your first interaction with the product, and it sets the tone: this knife is meant to spark some joy.

To make it even more unique, we offer custom laser engraving on the pocket clip as an optional add-on. A word, a name, a emoji—you decide what speaks to you. It’s a small touch that makes your SPARK truly one of a kind. It’s a gift-worthy experience, whether for yourself, or someone you want to share a little SPARK with.

Compact for daily use

The Spin is compact enough to carry all day, but never too small to use. It slips into any pocket and stays out of the way until needed. When you hold it, the grip is full and secure. You’ll carry it because it’s useful. You’ll keep it because it feels right.

Tested by real users

By now, SPARK Spin is far beyond a CAD model or pretty render. In June, we brought it to Blade Show ATL, and placed it directly into the hands of over a hundred real enthusiasts.

They flipped it, clicked it, spun it. And it resonated. The gear invites instinctive interaction. People didn’t have to think, they just reached for it. They tested the action with both the top flipper and thumb stud, many giving it a 9.5/10. They tried different grips to see if the gear interfered. It didn’t. The knife still felt good, solid, intuitive.

We want to be transparent, too. Some users with very large hands said the compact size felt a bit small. Others suggested deeper chamfers on some edges, which we’re already addressing in the final production run. We’re grateful for every piece of feedback. Thank you for helping us bring this wild idea into the real world.
