TempoFlow features a distinct design in which small stainless steel balls are used to display the time. These balls travel along three tracks to indicate hours and minutes. The ball’s position on the track corresponds to the current time.
TempoFlow relies on the principle of potential energy. Every minute, the motor transports a ball to the highest point on the track and then falls to the first timing track by gravity.
When the number of balls on the timing track reaches the threshold, it triggers a tipping motion due to gravitational potential energy. One ball progresses to the next-level timing track, while the rest continue along the main track.
