After successfully funding – and delivering – our Welcome to Brigantia campaign last November, we’re back with our first “real” offering: The Band of the Crow: Book One, a full color, oversized, perfect-bound album.
The Rebirth of Epic Fantasy Adventure
Crow is a grand adventure, and this is only our first offering of many. We’re committed to this, and we promise you: the story will unfold itself the more you read. Great things take time!
Therial is 16 winters old, pledged to marry the heir of a rival family, thereby ending a bitter feud. But first he must claim his fale, a magical amulet that will sharpen his spell casting and make him a full-fledged sorcerer.
To do this, he’ll have to find the center of a vast labyrinth called an endless knot, and not all who enter emerge again. What horrors will he find within the knot? The shadows loom dark among its twisting passages…
There are three members of Band of the Crow. Therial you’ve already met, and by the time Book One is over you’ll have met the second Crow, too. As for the third? Well, you’ll just have to wait and see…
We’ve got a few different reward tiers and lots of add-ons (more on that later), but basically, we have two items for this campaign:
1. Our “Welcome to Brigantia” Singles
We produced these 32-page teasers for our first crowdfunding campaign in November 2024. Quantities are limited, but we’re still selling below cost. Why? We believe in this story, and we know you’ll be back for more. This is a great low-cost, low-risk way of getting into Crow. They’re gonna become collectors’ items, so get ’em now!
2. The Band of the Crow: Book One
Oren (the artist) and Arvid (me, the writer) are so pleased to present you with The Band of the Crow: Book One, our main offering for this campaign. We (and our printer!) have agonized over every detail to make this truly special:
• Oversized format: 8″ x 10.875″ (6.625″ x 10.187″ is standard for American comics)
• Smyth sewn binding for optimal reading
• Matte laminated dust jacket with UV spot gloss
• High quality 157gsm/106lb semi-gloss interior stock
• 300gsm/111lb cover stock

This book really is a looker, and we won’t be offering it at this price ever again. Note that the image above is a mockup and does not show the dust jacket.
