The RAKORIS travel jacket was developed to fill that ga. It is designed to support travel without a bag, allowing you to carry essential items while maintaining a clean, refined silhouette.
To make this possible, we focused on three elements: material quality, construction, and functionality.
The outer fabric is made from high-quality natural materials woven in Japan. The internal structure includes 13 discreet and accessible pockets, carefully placed for balance and ease of use. The fit is tailored for comfort and movement during long days in transit.
Our goal was to create a jacket that meets the demands of modern travel without compromising on appearance or comfort.

The outer fabric is 100% wool, woven by a leading Japanese mill trusted by global fashion houses. Naturally water-repellent, odor-resistant, wrinkle-resistant, UV-protective, and breathable. It’s also machine-washable. Every jacket is crafted in Japan by skilled professionals.

Each pocket was placed with purpose: to maintain an elegant silhouette while ensuring quick access to travel essentials like your phone, passport, wallet, wireless earbuds, sunglasses, and even a tablet.

Despite its refined appearance and natural wool construction, this jacket is designed to be washed at home or at your destination with ease. The fabric is carefully selected and finished to resist wrinkles, odors, and water, making it ideal for repeat use during extended trips. We conducted multiple washing tests, both in professional testing facilities and with home washing machines, to ensure the jacket maintains its quality over time.

4. Exceptional Natural Fabrics — Crafted for Elegance and Performance
The RAKORIS Travel Jacket is built from premium natural materials chosen for both elegance and performance.
The outer fabric is 100% wool, woven in Bishu, one of the world’s top three wool textile regions. Bishu is known for producing refined, high-quality wool fabrics, trusted by global fashion houses and luxury brands. The fabric is developed using non-mulesed wool and woven with precision on traditional looms by experienced artisans. The result is a textile that balances durability with a soft, elegant finish.
The lining uses a ripstop cotton fabric made in Hamamatsu, a region with deep roots in Japanese textile manufacturing. While ripstop is traditionally known for its strength and use in military gear, we use Finks cotton — a long-staple Egyptian cotton prized for its smooth texture and lasting beauty. Together, these fabrics form the foundation of a jacket that embodies both travel-ready functionality and timeless elegance.

Wool is naturally equipped with properties that make it ideal for travel. It repels water and stains, resists wrinkles and odors, absorbs moisture, and helps protect against UV rays — all without synthetic treatments.
The RAKORIS Travel Jacket uses wool sourced from Argentina, selected not only for its performance but also for its origin: we use only non-mulesed wool, ensuring ethical sourcing. These natural benefits support comfort, elegance, and functionality throughout your journey.

Every RAKORIS Travel Jacket is made entirely in Japan — from the weaving of the fabric to the final stitching.
We work closely with experienced production control experts and quality control specialists to ensure that every detail meets the highest standards.

7. Designed to Last With Respect for the Environment
At RAKORIS, we believe that sustainability begins with thoughtful design and responsible material choices.
The RAKORIS Travel Jacket is made primarily from natural fabrics produced in Japan, including both the wool outer and the cotton lining. Each fabric is carefully sourced for durability, comfort, and traceable quality.
The only button used in the jacket is made from natural nut resin and dyed with gardenia, a plant-based dye.
In addition, the pocket zippers are made from recycled polyester using YKK’s chemical recycling technology, reducing our dependence on virgin synthetic materials.
Most importantly, the design is meant to outlast trends. With its refined silhouette and functional detailing, this is a jacket you can wear for years without replacement — reducing waste and consumption, while traveling in style.
The idea for this jacket began with a question:
Why is it so difficult to find a travel jacket that is both elegant and truly functional?
We wanted something we couldn’t find on the market, a jacket refined enough for city travel, but designed to carry everything you need without relying on a bag.
Over the past three years, we worked with experienced pattern makers, fabric specialists, and technical advisors to bring this concept to life. Multiple samples were developed and tested to refine the fit, pocket layout, materials, and overall usability. We also conducted several rounds of real-world field testing with monitors, who wore the jacket during actual travel scenarios and provided valuable feedback. Each version brought us closer to the final design.
Our goal was simple: to create a travel jacket that supports your journey without compromising your style or comfort.
The RAKORIS Travel Jacket follows a custom sizing system, designed to balance elegant lines with practical travel functionality.
Since our sizing differs slightly from standard jackets, we recommend that all backers carefully review the size chart before selecting their size.
The jacket is unisex and available in five sizes: XS, S, M, L, and XL.
The jacket is available in one classic color: navy, chosen for its versatility and timeless style.

Still, we recognize that we are not perfect. For instance, while the main fabrics are natural, some small components, such as the fusible interlining, still contain nylon-based materials.
