Whether you’re at the airport without someone to watch over your belongings, or even if you’re just walking down the street, The Guide comes with a host of features to facilitate travel and keep you and your belongings protected.
When you’re traveling with friends or family, knowing everyone’s location is a top priority. This is especially so when travelling to a new country or city.
Just one push of a button will instantly share your location via The Guide’s handy app.
You can also share your location multiple times in one trip to show your path of movement
And if you’re traveling alone, setting up The Guide on a friend or guardian’s phone back home will let you easily communicate how your travel is going or let your contact know if something has gone wrong.
This feature can be configured to send your location, an SOS emergency message, or a rendez-vous message based on your preferences.
Your GPS position is revealed to your designated contact ONLY, and only when you send them a ping.
Need to place your valuables down but worried that someone will steal them?
The Guide has an anti-theft feature to keep your belongings safe from thieves. Just set the The Guide to theft mode and place it on your bag, suitcase, phone, wallet—anything!
If someone tries to steal your belongings, The Guide’s motion sensor will detect movement, simultaneously sounding an alarm and sending an alert to your phone.
This feature can only be used while the protected item is at rest.

Not sure if your Airbnb is safe from unwanted guests while you’re sleeping?
Set the The Guide to security mode and attach it to your door or window.
When The Guide detects significant force on the object it’s attached to, an alert will be sent to you and a designated user’s smartphone so they can take appropriate action.
When triggered, the Guide will also emit a sound alarm to drive away any potential intruders.
Planning to meet up with someone while you’re traveling? Remember: anything can happen when you’re in a new place.

To use the check-in location share, start by identifying your destination and the expected arrival time.
If you don’t arrive by your expected arrival time, The Guide will send your location to a designated friend or family member. This will automatically keep your point of contact informed about your situation.
Once you’ve arrived, The Guide will send a notification to your registered user that you’ve successfully arrived at your destination. This feature is also great for commuting to work or school or other scenarios when you aren’t traveling.
We are also currently working on developing a feature that will let you track multiple steps of your trip to share with your contact while you’re on the go.
We’ve added travel-essential phrases like “How much is this?” “Where is the hospital?” and more onto The Guide’s pre-loaded phrase list for more convenient travel.
Voice messages can be delivered in English, Spanish, French, and Korean.
The Guide also lets you mask your voice messages in an authortiative voice recorded by native speakers to chase away potential intruders
When you need help, it can be impractical to reach for your phone and call the emergency hotline.
The Guide connects to your smartphone so you can call for help with the push of a button.
When you push The Guide’s SOS button, an emergency message is sent to a pre-designated user to let them know that you’re in need of assistance.
The SOS button also sends your realtime GPS location to keep your contact aware of where you are.
Quick and discreet, The Guide’s SOS button can buy you valuable time while help is on the way.
If you’re worried about privacy, rest assured that your GPS position is revealed to your designated contact ONLY, and only when you call for help.
If you ever lose your phone, just use The Guide’s Find My Phone feature.
Just hold down The Guide’s buttons and your phone will sound an alarm so you can find it quickly.
