We are back! After two succesful Titan campaigns here on Kickstarter and 1000’s sold in our store we have taken in a lot of information about what you liked about our Titans and what you didn’t like and we saved it all and gone through it. First off, we have simplified the lens changing mechanism so you’ll able to change lenses even easier on the go. Secondly, we’ve added a round design for everyone not completely sold on the wayfarer and aviator models. Thirdly, we upped the quality on the coating and changed small details that we felt wasn’t perfected.

After all the changes the collection have gone through, we are now very happy with the new models and are super excited to present the new series of TITAN. 

We hope you love them as much as we do and help us get this project into production so we can deliver a whole new collection of awesome sunglasses.

The most recognizable sunglasses design today, and probably throughout history of eyewear, is the classic wayfarer model. Even though the design has been through some over time, the original design lives strong, and will probably always be somewhat similar to what it once was. When they first were introduced to the masses they were considered to be revolutionary as they didn’t look anything like sunglasses that had been offered before that. 

The characteristic design can be described to have a thick upper rim that leads to what is called wings, and has become a must-have accessory in must people’s collection. 

The designer frames are found in next to all sizes, shapes and colors. Even though they are considered to historically be sunglasses for men, many women consider them as go-to sunglasses because of their shape and details that characterize them.

The aviator was originally developed for pilots to protect their eyes while flying but

after World War II aviator sunglasses were made available for civilians. 

So they got super popular because everything military was in fashion.

Aviators became popular among civilians in the 1940’s and 1950’s and are still in high demand among celebs and fashionable people.

To make things even more interesting, this time we also made a more luxurious model, still made of high quality titanium and plated with 24K real GOLD. Only for those who want the most exclusive sunglasses.

Next generation lenses

The lenses might just be the most important part of a pair of sunglasses. And what good would they do if they didn’t match the high quality of the titanium frames? We have worked with our best factory to get these lenses to match the perfectly designed titanium frames.

•  Next gen polarization 

First off we use 5 layer polarized lenses that effectively reduces glare, eliminating dazzling light reflection and scattered light which makes the vision more soft and clear. The polarized lenses have five layers composite materials with UV400 ultraviolet ray standard. This means that they block all wavelengths of light from 400 nm, which covers all of the UV spectrum. The first and last layer features a clear and durable scratch-resistant layer to avoid any damage you expose them to.

The mirror lenses is less durable against scratches so we always recommend a pair of black or gradient ones when you order.

•  State of the art lens-changing mechanism 

Besides the quality of the lenses we wanted to up the diversity so that you can give your Titans a more personalized look. The solution was to design them so that you safely and easily can change the lenses yourself. We upgraded the way you change them so now you can just click them in without any hassle with screws and screwdrivers.

• Prescription ready

All our frames are prescription ready and you can order lenses from your local optician to fit the frames. Sadly we don’t manufacture our own prescription lenses at this time.

Titanium metal is the top material of choice in the aerospace industry due to its high strength-to-weight ratio. As it also owns extreme temperature and corrosion resistance, we used this material before and know it will last the test of time.
