We brought it back to what really matters—cutting.

Over the past decade, we’ve seen something pretty absurd happen in the cutting tool world. The industry got obsessed with building “tactical pry bars.” Blades got thicker, edge angles got duller, and designs became bulky and overly aggressive—just to look tough.

Somewhere along the way, people forgot a simple truth: a cutting tool is, first and foremost, Sharp.

At Titaner, we’re obsessed with precision. And we don’t do things backwards.
So we stripped away the gimmicks and brought the folding cutting tool back to its purest form: extreme cutting performance.

We combined pure CNC-machined titanium with an ultra-thin, aggressive cutting geometry. No excess. No fluff. Just insane sharpness and smoothness.

You might be wondering—why does Heron cut like butter? It’s not magic. It’s obsessive engineering.

The blade uses premium Austrian Böhler M390 super steel—a material usually found only in high-end custom knives.
It’s made with 3rd-generation powder metallurgy, giving it an ultra-fine, uniform carbide structure at the molecular level.

But great steel alone isn’t enough. Without proper heat treatment, it’s just metal.

So we pushed M390 to its limits with a demanding process:
vacuum heat treatment + cryogenic treatment + triple tempering.

The result? A solid 60–62 HRC hardness—extremely tough, and built to stay sharp.

We went even further with a time-intensive six-stage water grinding process, creating a perfect V-shaped thin grind.

Less resistance. Cleaner cuts. Effortless slicing.

And because extreme sharpness needs protection, we designed the internal stop structure so that when closed, the edge is fully suspended inside the handle—never touching anything.

No contact. No wear. No dulling.

With a sharp tool, the real danger isn’t the edge—it’s instability.

Safety is non-negotiable for us.

That’s why Heron uses a precision-built Nested Liner Lock, a structure that demands extremely tight CNC tolerances.

The moment you deploy the blade, a solid steel liner snaps into place and locks the blade root tight—accompanied by a crisp, mechanical click.

That sound means one thing: it’s locked and ready.

Once engaged, it feels like a fixed blade—solid and unified.

In our extreme tests, we hung heavy weights from the blade and even hammered the spine. The lock held firm—no slip, no deformation.

There’s a rule in the cutting tool world:
a loose cutting tool is more dangerous than a sharp one.

Thanks to our precision machining, Heron holds extremely tight tolerances.

No matter the angle. No matter the pressure.

We added jimping on the spine and dual stop pins, so force transfers exactly where it should.

We used advanced internal weight relief milling to shift the center of gravity toward the blade—without compromising strength.
