Let’s talk about “locking” first.

Most people think a lock is just a lock—as long as it locks, it works. But after wrestling with titanium for 20 years (and accidentally inhaling quite a bit of titanium dust—don’t worry, we’re doing great), our perspective has… shifted a little. We admit it: when it comes to safety, we may have a touch of “perfectionism.”

We realized that “security levels” have never been clearly defined. Your safety needs during a calm picnic in a sunny field are completely different from those in a chaotic street late at night. We don’t believe a single structure can handle all scenarios.

So we created a clear, mechanical standard—not marketing buzzwords, but engineering logic for real-world use:

• Level 1: Quick Access

For daily commuting and frequent access—smooth, fluid, and stylish operation.

• Level 2: Active Defense

For crowded public transportation and environments where “personal space” doesn’t exist. This mode adds an active layer of protection.

• Unlocking: This is our most proud interactive design——Press the ruby, apply a pulling force, release, and pull out.

Does it sound complicated? Don’t worry—after three tries, you’ll be addicted. This motion builds a unique muscle memory: deliberate, smooth, and resistant to accidental activation.

Honestly, even this “basic” Level 1 system would confuse most opportunistic thieves. It is no exaggeration to say: Titaner’s Level 1 is already equivalent to other brands’ “ultimate level”.

  Insert each zipper pull into the left and right slots respectively, distributing tension evenly for balanced support.
• Compact Mode
  When zipper pulls are slim or awkwardly positioned, you can stack them together and lock both into a single slot.

However, one important point to note — regarding TSA certification. We designed the Trident with absolute physical security in mind, which means we refuse to include any ‘backdoor’ or ‘master key’ mechanism for TSA agents. Therefore, Trident is not a TSA-approved lock.
