Common Issues With Quick Access Cardholders

In our research on card holder designs that advertise quick access, the concept was good but not the design. We found that most video ads only showed people removing the card on top. What if the card you want is in the middle?

In addition to reviewing ads, we tested a range of quick access card holders available on the market. The following issues were found in 7 out of 10 products tested:

• Fractures in connecting rods
• Card ejection gets jammed by deformed parts
• Increased chance of failure if the cardholder is not full.

We carefully gathered the pain points of existing models and brainstormed ways to improve the characteristics. After 10 months of researching, testing, and refining the design, we proudly present the V-MAG Alpha. An efficient card holding system ready to assist you in style!

First, we redefined the card holder structure, so cards are stored individually in the V-MAG Alpha. This prevents piling up and allows you to easily grab the card you want when you want it.

This is a feature never before seen in a cardholder. Not even Apple has a card holder this simple!

 What Makes It Even Better? 

Not sold on the solid metal or structure design? It also has a customized MagSafe magnet built into it. By customizing the thickness and position of the magnets, we were able to improve the magnetic force!

Randomly shake your phone like it owes you money? Maybe you work in construction and move a lot. Regardless of the reason, the V-MAG Alpha will not slip off your phone unless you pull it off.

Replaceable No. 11 High-Carbon Steel Knife Blade

The blade or knife is by far the most used EDC tool. For the V-MAG Beta, we choose to use a No. 11 high-carbon steel blade. This ensures replacements are affordable and easy to find.

The blade is easily removed for replacement but strong enough for all your cutting needs. From opening boxes, cutting paper, removing tags, or making holes in plastic, the V-MAG Beta blade can handle it!

The V-Cover is designed to increase the functionality of the V-MAG Beta. It attaches and allows you to have your most used bank card or work ID on the outside.

How We Improved Design & Craftmanship

The design concept was inspired by a combination of mysterious totems of ancient civilizations and a futuristic cyberpunk style.

Every piece goes through a 10-step precision machining process, and dozens of cuts are made to ensure a quality product every time.

Materials & Colors  

There are two material options for the V-MAG Alpha, V-MAG Beta, and V-Cover modules:

• Aerospace-grade aluminum alloy with hard anodized finish (multiple colors available).
• Solid titanium with a stonewashed finish

The aluminum version is lightweight but durable, with the following color options:

• Cyber Gray
• Iron Red
• Prime Blue
• Space Black
