Letter from the Founders
This is Ali Can Erk, co-founder of Vagustim, together with my partner, Dr. A. Veysel Ozden, MD, PhD.
Dr. Ozden has dedicated more than 15 years to studying the vagus nerve. He has contributed to over 40 clinical trials and authored 4 books on the subject. His research revealed both the immense potential of the vagus nerve and the absence of practical, user-friendly solutions for people outside clinical environments.
The need is urgent. Stress is one of the greatest challenges of modern life, fueling sleep disturbances, digestive issues, mental health struggles, and more. Conventional approaches are limited and often fail to address the root cause. We believed there had to be a better way — and that’s why we created Vagustim.
I come from an engineering and entrepreneurial background, with more than a decade of experience building and scaling technology-driven companies. By combining Dr. Ozden’s scientific expertise with my track record in technology and business, we saw a unique opportunity: to transform cutting-edge research into a product that could change lives.
Our journey so far has been outstanding. The first generation of Vagustim has been used in 30+ scientific studies, shipped to more than 50 countries, and already helped thousands of people worldwide with a safe, reliable, and science-backed solution.
