As passionate mountain hikers and climbers, the MOUNTAIN SPIRIT MISTING team was inspired by the beauty of Mt. Fuji to create a diffuser that captures the essence of mountain forests and seas of clouds. This innovative diffuser not only visually represents the majesty of nature but also integrates a “dehumidification airflow” function into its design.\

Through countless designs, redesigns, and prototypes—and in collaboration with a perfumer—the MOUNTAIN SPIRIT MISTING team crafted the ZenUs with special mist circulation and natural essential oils that evoke the scent of Mt. Fuji trails. MOUNTAIN SPIRIT MISTING aims for this product to quietly accompany users, offering gentle and healing power in the most serene and comfortable way.

The birth of MOUNTAIN SPIRIT MISTING initially stemmed from the brand owner, Ken Chou’s, deep love for hiking. Entering the mountains allowed him to experience a serene atmosphere completely different from that of the bustling city.

The chirping of insects and birds, the cool breeze, and the scents of trees, soil, and flowers gradually relaxed his once tense body and mind. On the way to the mountaintop, in addition to his own heartbeat and footsteps, he could also hear his inner voice. Some lingering, unresolved thoughts suddenly found their most genuine answers.

 To recreate this mountain experience in everyday life, Chou utilized his design expertise to create the prototype of ZenU. The initial motivation was simply to “let people have a mountain at home”.

After two years of development, the first generation of ceramic MOUNTAIN SPIRIT MISTING ZenU progressed from research and development to mass production. Throughout this journey, it has been a source of strength for Ken Chou. A friend, upon seeing the beautiful mist emanating from the product, smiled and said, “Watching it feels like being back on the mountain we once climbed together; it’s as if I’ve regained strength from the mountain, ready to face life’s difficulties and challenges once again.”

We believe that the serene and peaceful atmosphere of the mountains and forests can help people find an emotional outlet and alleviate the pressures of life. Therefore, we have transformed the ‘beauty of the mountains’ into the Taiwanese premium fragrance brand MOUNTAIN SPIRIT MISTING through design and technology development.
