ORA is our first truly interactive object– you will be able to change it’s appearance by switching the position of the inside helix. Explore multiple shapes each presenting different motion.

The illusion of ORA is somewhat simple and amazingly complex at the same time. We define it as a beautiful mixture of art, brainstorming, experience, precision machining and a bit of luck!
ORA contains no magnetic or electric components. It’s an entirely mechanical device, and it’s illusion is achieved through a distinctive, meticulously crafted shape paired with kinetic motion.

the complexity of ORA (or how it’s made)
With each product we try to level up our skills and ORA is no doubt our most complex desk toy so far. To achieve such a unique visual appearance it required months of prototyping and experimenting with different kinds of shapes and materials. The manufacturing process requires dedication and true precision but it is well worth it. ORA is CNC machined out of the highest quality metals and consists of 8 different parts precisely assembled together.
MULTI SHAPE BODY– You can easily take out the inner helix and switch it over to make the longer ORA shape and enjoy completely different optical effect (Super satisfying process BTW😁). Or you can switch between different inner helix colors and create any designs you like.
With our CNC machines, we are able to achieve such a level of precision that is rarely found in regular everyday objects. You’ll instantly notice minutely milled lines and smooth surface texture upon touching ORA for the first time!
DESIGNS
There are 3 standard colors for ORA that you can get in this Kickstarter campaign. Your color choices will be asked in the survey after the project ends so in this campaign you only need to choose how many units you want.
The inside helix is removable – if you get more than one ORA you will be able to switch between them and enjoy multiple color variations.
