The boom, bucket, dipper, and swing are all controlled in mode one with the joysticks. Mode one uses the industry standard ISO controls (Caterpillar controls). In mode two, the joysticks exclusively control the tracks: left joystick controls the left track forward and backward, and the right joystick controls the right track forward and backward.
