The 8BitCADE Level Up is a fun yet challenging way to learn how to code. It is a combination of hardware (the prebuilt console) and software (the learn platform) that work hand in hand to allow you to learn the fundamentals of coding step by step! From online courses and daily coding challenges to a full fledge interactive emulator, the 8BitCADE Level Up will make you a coding master in no time!

Back in the day, 8bit programmers had to work with very small memory, which resulted in the development of amazing programming techniques to cleverly do more with less. Programming the 8BitCADE challenges users to think smart and use their creative problem-solving skills to find better solutions. Though it takes an immensely large team to code a single game nowadays, the 8BitCADE will teach you the basics of game development!

The coding community is there to help every step of the way!

 Wireframe for learn platform!

Stage 1 of the learning platform focuses on software development. This is aimed to release by the end of December (Christmas time). This will consist of the:
           • Online IDE & Emulator
           • Daily Challenges
           • Coding courses

Stage 2 of the learning platform focuses on hardware development. This is aimed to release mid 2022 and will aim to deliver a whole variety of online video courses for you to learn more about hardware development!
           • Online video courses
           • Community forums
           • Improvements of Stage 1 based on your feedback

Further stages will be discussed openly with the community before moving ahead. This could be further improvements on the learning platform through additional game making tools such as a pixel art editor/chiptune maker or it could be the release of new DIY kits!

Our current aim is to get the first batch out for Christmas! However, due to COVID and the chip shortage, it is hard to predict the exact date in which you will receive your console! We will do our absolute best to get your console to you in time!

We prepared 500 units ready for the Christmas release! If we exceed this goal, they will be sent out after Christmas! More info is updated throughout the campaign.
