MILDA is the latest edition to the collection developed by Anylock, specialists in push- pull door locks. An interior door lock designed for everyone- from children, to the elderly and disabled, open doors in one easy push or pull!

MILDA was developed to bridge the social gaps in accessibility for everyone.

By installing silicone pads on your milda lock, unexpected scratches or markings during installation can be prevented, with better attachment grip to your door’s surface. Preventing the entry of moisture when assembling in humid conditions such as the bathroom, the silicone pad helps to keep the lock in top condition for longer.

With each (x1) milda lock you purchase, receive 2 silicone pads. Get 10 silicone pads with the milda bundle (x5) and 20 silicone pads with milda’s full house pack (x10)

Please note that the silicone pad may differ in color from the image.

Most of us face no issues using conventional door locks. But for children, the elderly, and the disabled, it may not be so straightforward. Turning door handles is an unnatural wrist movement, so when faced with repeated stress, it can lead to wrist pain.

MILDA is a one-step push-pull door lock designed over long-term research to provide a system convenient and easy for everyone.

Patented technology from Anylock, the auto-reverse mechanism rotates 90 degrees in the direction in which the door is pushed or pulled. Minimizing the friction between the lock latch and plate supports a smoother movement, making for an easy operation for the elderly and children.

The MILDA lock prevents the chance of door jamming over time, guaranteeing generations of use.

Our research and development team underwent a study on palm sizes to create the most user-friendly handle that could accommodate everyone grip.

MILDA’s ergonomic curve design received recognition from government representatives at the GOOD DESIGN AWARD in South Korea.

For emergencies that call for a quick exit, MILDA’s anti-panic function unlocks and releases doors in just one step.

Experience zero delays when escaping hazardous circumstances such as a fire. Just as easy as pushing to enter, pulling the handle of a bolted door releases the lock automatically from the inside making for a quick escape.

Door locks rank high as a source of germ transmittor in both public and private spaces. Reducing cross-infection between uses, the MILDA is coated with an anti-bacterial finish that is applied during the last stages of manufacturing. Safeguarding your home is easy with MILDA.

MILDA comes in two lock types: key and coin.

The key lock is appropriate for spaces that require privacy with added security such as bedrooms, studies and garages. For communal areas like children’s bedrooms and bathrooms, the coin lock is a better alternative for ease of access, in particular when responding to aid.

Easy and quick for anyone to assemble, only 5 screws are required to affix MILDA to your door. Simply remove your existing door lock and install in its place.

The standard measurement for latch backsets are 2-3/8′ and 2-3/4′. By default, MILDA is available in both sizes. Please select and pledge the size compatible with your doors.

When purchasing conventional door locks, it’s necessary to select a left or right handle depending on the orientation in which the door opens.

However, MILDA’s push-pull lock can be installed without the fuss. The direction of the push or pull can be manually set during installation!

We conducted an experiment that tested the usability of our lock against a traditional lever-type handle for 20 senior participants aged 65 and older.

Our results showed the majority of seniors find MILDA‘s push-pull type locks positively easier to operate than the lever types.

We visited the homes of 10 seniors living alone and installed MILDA locks in their bathrooms, monitoring product usability over 3 months.

The seniors reported MILDA to be far more convenient to use compared to their existing door locks. As a result of high consumer satisfaction, many of our participants requested a trial extension for a year.

We are currently still monitoring and collecting feedback from our participants.

We tested the usability of MILDA for mothers and their children under the age of five. Our results showed our lock to be within reach for small children, supportive of good access.

One mother, in particular, showed great interest in the coin-type lock designed for children’s rooms and bathrooms, stating the advantages arising from taking action quickly if or when faced with a distressed child in a locked room.

In participation in the 2022 Korea Build Week, we received positive feedback from overseas buyers and interior officials.

We opened up an experience booth for visitors to have a first-hand try at our easy 5-screw-only lock installation.
