Rocks Diver is our interpretation of the ideal diving watch. Meticulous attention to every single detail, a mechanical soul and a refined aesthetic make it a masterpiece.

Curiosity, desire for knowledge, love for nature are all emotions that push us to dive on the seabed for new adventures.

The concept of Rocks Diver was inspired by our recent dive between the rocky coasts and the sea stacks. At their sight we were fascinated, but only by diving near them we discovered their extraordinary marine flora and fauna.

Bencler Rocks Diver is the diving watch created for adventurous and tenacious individuals, suitable to accompany you in your explorations among the rocks of the sea, in your excursions among the highest peaks of the mountains or in everyday missions .

The dial, caseback and hands of the Rocks Diver recall the sea rocks.

All Bencler watches are designed by us, in Italy. Once arrived at our offices, a technical team checks the quality of each component, thus carrying out, if necessary, further checks and finishes.

We decided to make our case in 316L stainless steel, for its effectiveness in high-stress situations and its corrosive-agents resistance, such as the strong pressures of an immersion or seawater corrosion. With a case diameter of 39,5 mm and a thickness of 11.70mm, it offers an exemplary presence on the wrist.

The case is distinguished by its alternating sinuous shapes and sharp edges that are further highlighted by the double finish.

The brushed finishes and perfect polishing of the corners and crown, create an excellent contrast between multiple facets.

The dial of ROCKS DIVER recalls the rough feel of the sea stacks, to give this effect we chose a sandblasted finish with brushed indexes.

The dial colors have a light to dark gradation to emphasize the way the light gradually fades away as you dive in the mysterious depths of the sea.

The date window is perfectly positioned on the dial, it is made with the same color of the dial. With such perfect integration, the complication of the date is evident only when necessary.

The immersion bezel of ROCKS DIVER is made of real ceramic, unidirectional 120 click. The ROCKS DIVER’s exclusive bezel is filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 to facilitate the reading in dimly lit contexts.

The symbol at he symbol at 12 o’clock is a clear reference to the shape of the sea stacks, while on the right side (0 to 20) the colored accents on the bezel capture the light that shines under the sea at night.

The design of the hands is inspired by the shape of the sea stacks.

To facilitate a quick reading of the time even in difficult situations, we created satin hands filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9.

We understand the importance of the lumen in an underwater watch, especially when used in your marine explorations.

Rocks Diver is generously filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 on indexes, hands and bezel.

This effective combination allows an optimal reading of time in all conditions, as expected from a watch suitable for any occasion.

The Automatic Miyota 9015 is a premium caliber, which beats at 28,800 bph (4 Hz), offering 42 hours of power reserve, often compared to the renowned and more expensive Swiss movements.

Protecting every movement is a screw-down case-back, deeply stamped with an energetic piece of art.

The case back of Rocks Diver transmits energy and beauty through a work of art of the nature, a sight to see! We paid great attention to the design of the case back. The latter is a tribute to the beautiful stacks of the small Italian seaside village of Aci Trezza, place of our immersion.

The origins of the sea stacks of Aci Trezza date back to more than half a million years ago, when the first submarine volcanic activities began the formation of these imposing structures.

The most evocative story that has fascinated us most, sees the formation of these stacks with a very different nature from the volcanological one.

According to Greek mythology, the presence of the sea stacks is due to the clash between Odysseus and Polyphemus, who threw these boulders against Odysseus. The boulders thrown by Polyphemus in the waters remained there, becoming what we today call “sea stacks”.

Each watch will be distributed with a serial number, making each Rocks Diver unique and special.

Rocks Diver is built to withstand overwhelming pressure and scuba diving in challenging locations, ensuring a sense of safety and reliability when the wearer engages in underwater activities. The solid 316L stainless steel case can withstand up to 300 meters.

The Rocks Diver beads of rice bracelet, fits perfectly on all wrists thanks to its adjustable buckle.

The durable 316L stainless steel bracelet is incredibly comfortable to wear and gives the watch a solid look. It is equipped with a «deployant clasp» with button opening and a snap lock to protect against accidental opening.

All our straps are made with Italian leather. Straps are hand-stitched by local artisans for a solid construction, characterized by exceptional softness and indisputable resistance to torsion.
