Cerberus: The Hound of Hades had 3 heads to guard the gates of the Underworld to prevent the dead from leaving… The Angles Cerberus similarly has a 3-armed approach to capture time accurately on your wrist 24/7.
Celebrating more than 20 years of in-house design and manufacture, Angles Cerberus is a pinnacle achievement featuring our own wandering rotating hour complication encased in 316L Stainless Steel and silicone strapped. Powered by the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, the Cerberus outperforms with luxury at a price point made possible through Angles’ relentless dedication to achieve a jewelry piece while also passing along more savings to you.
Not a micro-brand and no longer staying “hidden” as a manufacturer for others, we seek to share our love of watches with greater affordability made possible by removing that micro-brand layer. Horology at a personal level is obsession. We design and create in-house as much as possible and as efficiently as possible. With this watch we evolve how our celebrated (watchuseek and others!) rotating hour complication presents hours: we exclusively use a 4-sided pyramid to guide the eye better to the minute register below. The very few others to achieve rotating hour complications spin rectangular cubes: Angles is the first to improve from that as the tapering pyramidal shape further encourages the eye to flow from the now better pointing hour to the minute register for quickly reading time. Truly our efforts are built upon 20 years of research and development and production of 3-armed wandering hour complications correctly energized by best sourced Japanese and Swiss mechanical movements.
Because of our special position, we are able to offer the Angles Cerberus at an incredible introductory price to only our Kickstarter community – $3600 HKD is approximately $460 in US Dollars with $200 HKD tracked shipping to anywhere else on the planet (which is about another $26 USD!). Each dial color is a strictly limited series of 300 stainless steel cased Angles Cerberus. Our project is open for support for ONLY a brief 2 weeks on Kickstarter so don’t miss this opportunity! We will NEVER offer the Angles Cerberus for a lower price once this campaign concludes.
The Cerberus comes in five styles to choose from: Onyx, Ruby, Sapphire, Garnet, and Topaz.
A wandering hour watch presents a unique way of displaying time. The mechanism has three independently rotating pyramids [the Cerberus’ hour pyramids flip on their edge for a 3-dimensional rotating experience rather than a flat spinning disk with all numbers appearing on the same side] with an individual hour number printed on each of their four sides. In this way, the current hour is read pointing to the bottom of the dial where the fixed minute register appears. The hour pyramid glides from right to left, pointing at the current minutes. At the end of each hour a new hour pyramid is cued up to the right of the minute register (at minute “00”) as the current hour moves away from the minute register on the left (at minute “60”) and the cycle repeats itself for each successive hour.
Each module is thoroughly tested throughout the assembly process to ensure it still holds the same factory chronometric standards (-10/+30 sec per day). This allows us to maintain the reliability and serviceability of the Miyota Caliber 9039 while creating a visually dynamic display of time. We finalize performance in our quality control to improve movement performance by adjusting in 5 positions to achieve +/- 10 seconds a day slippage.

The Angles Cerberus is powered by a Miyota 9039 automatic movement that registers at 28,800 beats per hour and has a power reserve of 36 hours. This is a very high-quality Japanese movement used by premium watch brands, and it’s similar in accuracy to much more expensive Swiss movements. The 9039 is part of Miyota’s Premium Automatic line.
All models feature Swiss Super-LumiNova® filled for late night adventures. Luminous pigments work like light storage batteries, where UV light charges the “battery,” and, afterward, the energy is slowly emitted in the form of light. This activation and subsequent light emission process can be repeated again and again, and the material does not fade from aging.
Top double-dome sapphire crystal is antireflective coated. When “double domed,” the crystal is rounded not just on the outside but the inside, as well, and this prevents distortion when looking at the watch from an angle. Almost as scratch resistant and durable as diamond, sapphire crystal is the best material for a wristwatch. So no mineral glass or synthetic plastics!
We provide a silicone strap with each watch that is exclusive to us. The strap secures to your wrist by butterfly clasp. You will be able to cut the band to your specific wrist size to get a perfect fit. Extra straps are available for $20 each (via the post-Campaign survey) and will be shipped with your watch. Each watch comes with a color-coordinated silicone strap as well as an extra black silicone strap – so 2 straps included with each watch already!
After this Kickstarter campaign ends, we’ll send you a post-campaign survey where you will finalize your color choice and provide your shipping information. Surveys are generally sent about a month after the campaign ends.
