Beflamboyant is more than just a footwear brand. Our mission is clear: transform the present to build a better tomorrow. We design and produce vegan and sustainable footwear, ethically handmade in Spain. We use organic and recycled materials, certified by The Vegan Society and endorsed by PETA.

At Beflamboyant, our vision is based on three key pillars: respect for animals, care for the planet and fairness for all people. We are 100% vegan, reject greenwashing and advocate for conscious and sustainable consumption. We believe in gender equality and fair working conditions.

Our identity is shaped by our core values: veganism, sustainability, transparency, inclusivity, commitment, timeless design, and local production. We prioritize the use of materials like corn or pineapple, which makes up a 70% organic base, and SEAQUAL, derived from recycled plastic collected from the sea.

We reject the notion of dictating what one should wear; personal expression should be free. Our designs cater to everyone, irrespective of gender. They’re crafted for those who resonate with them, whether male, female, or non-binary.

We are very happy to present you the Beflamboyant barefoot collection composed of 4 models of sneakers and two vegan boots. All barefoot models are made from organic materials, the sneakers from pineapple leather and the boots from corn leather. Designed and handmade in Spain under fair working conditions.

Did you know that we have made all our barefoot shoes waterproof? 

At Beflamboyant we know that the important thing about shoes is to enjoy them, that’s why we have designed our barefoot shoes with a waterproof membrane, so that on your walks in the countryside, in the rain or on the beach, all you have to do is enjoy yourself, we’ll take care of keeping your feet dry!

Super thin, ultra light and super flexible sole to have a feeling of total connection between the ground and your body. Zero drop favors the natural position of your foot and body.

Removable cork insole, super flexible and wide to allow your foot to move freely. 

When we found out that millions of animals are used by the fashion industry every year, we had just one goal in mind: to create cruelty-free fashion.

Our barefoot shoes collection is mainly made from corn and pineapple waste, is a vegan and sustainable material, which emits 88% less CO2 than animal leather. It is created with the inedible part of the corn and the pineapple so we are taking advantage of the waste.

The main part of our barefoot boots and sneakers it is made out of corn and pineapple, it is a bio-based material more than 63% organic, extremely comfortable, high quality, breathable, waterproof and lightweight, with the PETA VEGAN APPROVED certification.

We are all now aware of the current world-wide plastic problem. We want to help reduce the senseless spread of plastic by embracing a zero-waste philosophy. You won’t have to throw anything in the trash! 

We send your sneakers in a natural jute bag which can be re-used every day. To keep your Beflamboyant barefoot from being damaged during transport, all of this arrives in a cardboard box which you can reuse or recycle in any paper or cardboard receptacle.

Your BEFLAMBOYANTs are made in Felgueiras, Portugal, a small town in the Northern part of Portugal whose main industry is footwear.

We manufacture in Portugal, local manufacturing, just 160 km from our warehouses.
We have chosen a factory with a lot of experience making by hand barefoot footwear  for the majority of barefoot brands on the market.

After a thorough search we found a factory motivated to be a part of our project, with excellent artisans with many years of experience working under fair labor conditions and following high manufacturing standards.

To find out your Beflamboyant foot size, you must measure your length.

• Place a sheet of paper on the floor, taped to the wall.
• Place your foot on the sheet of paper, with your heel against the wall. If you want a more realistic measurement, put on your usual socks.
• Mark on the sheet where the longest toe ends (not always the big toe).
• With a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the mark you made.
• Once you have the measurement in centimetres, consult the detailed size chart on the product page.
