It has been over three years since COVID, and the old days of working stationary in an office had shifted to work from home and now transcend to work everywhere. The pursuit of efficiency with a swift and elegant lifestyle is what we seek now for a brilliant work/life balance.

We, as product designers and stationery enthusiasts – now often work simultaneously in the studio, cafes, workshops, or meeting clients. We were also looking for brilliant tools to cover our needs for heavy use of writing, drawing, and tool organising, which is why we came up with the book NOTA series.

Book NOTA is a reinvented notebook and personal organizer with flexible modulating features and magnetic binding technology, keeping your ideas organized and your daily carryings simple. It is perfect for brainstorming and presentations that take your creativity to the next level.

Book NOTA Work is perfect for brainstorming, illustration, presentation, and project management. The intricate modular design starts from the magnetic book spine and the binders. Users can organise binders for different usages, such as assigning them for various project management or converting them into multiple organisers.

Organising the notebook has become ever so swift and straightforward. The binder will automatically align itself from any angle when placed next to one another.

NOTA Work is also compatible with binders and accessories of NOTA Daily.

Keep information fixed on any metal shelves or storage. Display the booklet as a time planner or a Gantt chart for project management using portrait page designs. When ideas pile up, the binders can be attached, keeping your handwritten notebook clean and categorised.

NOTA Work accommodates three to four binders of both Work and Daily edition. Mix and customise your NTOA work with paper textures, colours or organisers.

The intricate binding design allows pages to be individually removed or inserted from the binders within seconds for content arrangements or page refilling. There are two signature ways to refill, each with unique features.

Two ways for binding.

Papers are punched with a notch on both ends and secured by a silicone band. Every page in the magnetic binder acts as an individual, able to slide out a single sheet to share information or rearrange reading orders.

A holds around 20 folded sheets of 100 gsm A4, equivalent to 40 pages in A5. The number of pages may vary when using different paper thicknesses. The A5 pages can easily be unfolded into an A4 sheet, allowing you to express and maximise your creativity from an easy-carry A5-sized notebook.

When combining the binder with an A5 adapter, the binder becomes a lay-flat design notebook and is free to add in stacks of paper, A5 notebooks or organisers from other brands. Each adapter has two elastic straps to hold two booklets.

A5 slim size. Each strap holds a stack of paper of up to 30 sheets. Standard A4 will need to trim off approx. 15-20mm on edge to better fit into the book cover.

We use soft white 100 gsm wood-free paper for NOTA Work; it is Ideal for all kinds of printers and is slightly more durable than regular double A office paper. We recommend using any paper above 80 gsm.

Turn an extra binder into a portable organizer and minimize your daily carryings when on the go. We offer several accessories that can be easily attached to the book NOTA system and further enhance its potential.

The organizer is made of vegetable-tanned leather and machine-stitched by artisans.

The A5 adaptor allows you to bind ready-made notebooks or stacks of paper into the magnetic binder system. One Adaptor set comes with two A5 adaptors, capable of carrying four notebooks or pages up to 100+.

The EDC envelope folder is perfect for keeping items like tickets, notes, and receipts. It’s a flat-pack design and can fit two to three folders within a magnetic binder for various arrangements. One set comes with three folders.

We’ve incorporated 10 materials and 37 components into NOTA work yet maintained a minimal design. We’ve been through dozens of prototyping and material testing phases to refine and integrate different ideas and finally landed on this solid solution.

A fully refilled NOTA WORK is 227 * 166mm and weighs 435g. It is slightly bigger than the A5 size and weighs about two iPhones.

Recycled leather

Recycled leather is made from leather off-cuts that can’t be used due to their shape or size. They are shredded down and then re-polymerised, giving them a second life with a unique look, remarkable texture, and flexibility.

Vegetable-tanned leather

Vegetable-tanned leather develops a natural patina adding another element to its look and a softer, more forgiving texture. The vegetable-tanned leather will sometimes retain inevitable traits like bug bites, wrinkles or scar marks. Therefore, products will sometime have qualities caused by these natural factors. Please understand and consider these features when purchasing the product.

The binders are made of 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium alloy, precision CNC and hard anodised colouring to achieve superior durability. The U notch on the NOTA WORK binder had further improved with a slightly rounded edge to protect the silicone band.

ANTOU cares for sustainability and lifespan as much as design and style. The book NOTA series can easily strip down to the leather cover, elastic band, and aluminium structure. We provide renovation services or replacement kits when materials are worn off.

To renovate the product, we will charge only for the material needing replacement. Refresh yourself with a new colour, or even have an upgrade from recycled leather to veg-tanned leather. We can further touch up the look by recolouring the coating if the product is sent back to us.

We turned to a local leather supplier for a unique option to add a bit of surprise to the campaign. Unlike other regular products, the KS edition is hand-finished inside our studio one by one. Therefore, we could only offer a limited amount during the campaign.
