How it all began!
The journey for Twistboxes began 5 years ago. I was on my way home traveling from southern Sweden to northern Sweden, where we live. We drove through a snowy landscape and encountered car after car with a rooftop cargo carrier on their roof as if they just have been on their annual ski holiday.
I am a father of 4 children and an entrepreneur who sees solutions to problems.
I realized that all of these clumsy traditional roof topper had to fit somewhere, that is when the idea arose that this could be done differently. I am challenging an industry that has not seen any product development in the last 30 years!

What We Need & What You Get
We have now entered phase 2 in Twistbox’s history and most recently completed a very successful Kickstarter campaign that we launched in September -23.
We have had Generation 1 out on the market for about 6 months with success and incredible response from our backers.
Now we proudly present Twistboxes Generation 3 which we have developed and on which we have improved many details.
One of the most important things we’ve done with Generation 3 is to lower the weight from 22 kg to only 13.5 kg, which makes it even more user-friendly and easier to carry from your apartment to your car regardless if it’s close by or a few blocks away.
We have replaced all metal details with 100% stainless steel and we have made all fasteners for the roof rails more secure than anyone else in the industry. Many small details have received new looks and our stabilization knobs, that makes the cargo carrier stable to be on your car roof, have received new locking mechanisms that make it incredibly safe, stylish and user-friendly.
We want to give you the opportunity of a freer life with more and easier trips in the future.
We are launching this campaign with the goal of reaching those of you who have the vision of a better and more enjoyable life, but previously did not have the opportunity due to limitations of space in their own homes. We have a product that will be ready to be sent to you as soon as the campaign is finished.

Twistboxes roof box is a real, stable, safe, stylish cargo carrier that only has advantages over traditional cargo carriers. It is stable on your car roof (even when it is empty). You can also fold it down when it is still mounted on your car so that it is only about 10 cm high, which means that you can get into any garage without having to take it off.
