Amendments
The above videos were based on prototypes. Due to our quest to constantly improve, we have since made some changes. Minor changes will continue to be made, but here are some big ones made since these videos were published:
End Game requirements. In order to win the player must have the following buildings in places, as well as maxing out the scorecard:
1x Terminal Building
1x Hangar
1x Accommodation
1x Public transport
Removed “Miss a turn” card 🤮. We have also made several other event/bonus cards less damaging.
Destination cards have been removed. Players are rewarded with Bonus cards as they progress instead.
Why is Airport Empire not for 3-4 players? Well technically it is, but due to the amount of components required to allow for people to make expansive, unique airports it would make the box way too big and heavy (as well as uneconomical). Therefore, we have this 4 player component pack. This includes all the additional parts required to play up to 4 players.
Here we go into a bit more detail of how the game is played, for a full look at the rules please see the link at the bottom of this section. Note the rules are likely to have small changes from the final version.
Please note we also can’t ship to Alaska, Hawaii and Guam. The above price table shows our estimated shipping cost. These estimates include taxes like VAT, GST or sales taxes (where applicable), but the final amounts will be charged in the pledge manager. Do not add shipping or taxes to your pledge.
This is our conservative projection. There is a very good chance we will complete manufacturing and shipping well ahead of schedule. We will provide regular updates upon the closure of the campaign.
