In August 2025, XFoil hosted Hawaii’s first-ever eFoil Race. Riders came from all over, many on boards costing 2–4x more than XFoil.

Shipping costs will be collected after the campaign ends. By handling shipping this way, we’re able to provide backers with significantly discounted rates less than 50% if you were to arrange shipping on your own.

VAT, import duties, and tariffs are not included and will be the responsibility of the backer. Final shipping rates will be shared before fulfillment so you’ll know exactly what to expect. Working Prototype

Here is unedited real-world video footage of the XFoil Escape prototype in action. The video demonstrates:

• Connection to the remote
• Motor arming sequence
• Indicator lights displaying battery life, Bluetooth connectivity, and motor status
• Motor operation
• Dynamic wings initializing and moving
• Real-world riding in water

This footage confirms that we have successfully miniaturized the electronics by 75% and integrated them into the motor. It also shows that all core functions of Escape are fully operational and ready for production.

Insurance, Risk of Loss & Damage Claims:

Domestic Shipments: Damage must be reported within 5 business days of receipt.

International Shipments: Damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
Failure to report within this timeframe may void your eligibility for insurance claims.

Taxes, Duties & Import Fees:
Backers are responsible for any applicable import taxes, customs duties, VAT, or GST upon delivery. These charges are not included in the pledge or shipping costs.

Performance Metrics & Use Conditions:
All performance specifications (e.g., range, runtime, top speed) are based on controlled, ideal testing conditions:

• Rider weight under 150 lbs (68 kg)
• Flat water with no wind or current
• No propeller guard installed
• Foiling 99% of the ride at ~30% throttle (for range/runtime)

Maximum thrust with full battery for top speed. Actual performance will vary based on rider weight, skill level, water conditions, wind, current, and usage habits.

Product Usage & Safety:

• XFoil is designed for users aged 14 and older.
• Maximum rider weight: 250 lbs (113 kg) for Alpha model, 230 lbs (104 kg) for Escape model.
• Always wear a certified personal flotation device (PFD) and follow local regulations when operating XFoil.
• Riders assume all risk associated with operating an electric watercraft.

Package Variants & Materials:

• Carbon fiber materials for the board, wing, and tail are only included in Sport and Pro packages.
• The Base package uses fiberglass.
• Board weight is approximate and may vary slightly in final production.

Estimated Delivery and Delays:
All estimated delivery dates are subject to change. While we strive to meet our timeline, unexpected delays in manufacturing, logistics, or regulatory approvals may occur. We commit to transparent and timely updates should delays arise.

Refunds, Cancellations, and Warranty:
