By splitting the chest strap, we intentionally created an open channel directly below the throat. This ensures nothing covers or pressures the sensitive trachea and larynx, regardless of the dog’s posture or activity level. Find the perfect fit to keep your dog comfortable and mobile during every adventure. Follow these steps to measure accurately:
- Measure Chest Girth: Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of your dog’s rib cage, just behind the front legs. Measure loosely—add 1-2 inches (2-5 cm) for comfort.
- Weigh Your Dog: Use a reliable scale for an accurate weight.
- If in Doubt: Size up for growing dogs or active breeds to allow room for movement. For overlaps in ranges, choose based on weight and activity level (e.g., opt for larger if your dog is muscular or high-energy).
Puppy Tip: If your dog is still growing, select the next size up to accommodate future growth.
