DarkMaster is designed for both indoor and outdoor usage. It delivers super light uniformity, excellent color rendering (CRI+95), and extremely long battery life; combining its patented magnetic reflectors and three light output modes can quickly be set: Direct Mode, Diffuse Mode, and Reflective Mode. No need to attach any separated parts to set different modes! Get rid of the annoying one-way light intensity loop. DarkMaster can increase or decrease the light intensity by pressing the + and – buttons correspondingly; Up to 6 intensity levels can be set. With its memory function, DarkMaster could light up to the last intensity level immediately from an off state.

For Most Living and Adventure Scenarios

DarkMaster dims six levels of light intensity  : 3%, 5%, 10%, 25%, 50%, and 100%. Levels of 3%, 5%, and 10%: can be used as a night table lamp or as your personal secret lighting. 

Levels of 25%, 50%, and 100%: for its normal flashlight function, those intensity levels with diffuse mode also can make elegant light ambiance or for comfortable reading.

Visible light flood underwater:

The ingenious reflector design allows you to tune the lighting direction easily, even reading a book or using your mobile phone late at night without disturbing your mate next to you.

Uniform Light  +  95 CRI  +  Flicker-Free

Compared DarkMaster and other ordinary flashlights, You can see that DarkMaster is totally different from others. Most flashlights on the market use the same lens design as the right-hand one(picture below).

The ordinary lens lets the flashlights make no difference but only in lumen difference. You may not see detail in the light spot center, or somehow you feel weird since the object looks not like as in daylight. The revolutionary flashlight DarkMaster can help you see like ever before! the exquisite optical lens creates a light spot with high-intensity uniformity, which lets you see every detail, combined with the 95 Color Rendering Index, making the object look more like in daylight. •  Restore the objects’ true color: Color Rendering Index(CRI)>95 makes DarkMaster reveal the object’s true color in the darkness, color your adventurous at night. DarkMaster won’t let you miss any treasure moment, even the tiny detail you can still catch with a clear view.

•  Uniform and concentrated light spot: Through DarkMaster’s exquisite optical lens, light is shaped into a square and uniform light spot to reveal very tiny detail of objects :

•  Flicker-free: While taking video, a low dimming PWM frequency of lighting will cause a flicker effect- you can see moving dark strips in video play.  DarkMaster’s megahertz dimming PWM frequency makes flicker-free in video shooting.

Night Observation Scenario

Why is the 200lm DarkMaster much better in night observation than a 550lm flashlight?

DarkMasteroptical lens shape light in a rectangular area and let the user see a brighter view. With DarkMaster, you can get closer to the natural at night. DarkMaster projects uniform and rectangular light that no light wasting outside the light spot. Reduce light pollution and stop disturbing other resting animals in the wild.

Illuminance measurement:

A good flashlight should throw uniform and more luminous flux on the object (Lux) rather than only concerned the light it throws out (lm).

We used a luxometer to test the lux of DarkMaster and a 550lm flashlight in the test. We tested different areas of the light spot, from the center to the corner and on different sides. The picture above shows the highest and the lowest lux in the light spot. According to the data shown on the instrument. The lux range of DarkMaster is 888lux to 794lux; the other is from 727lux to 210lux. The test showed the DarkMaster with 200lm is brighter than a 550lm flashlight. (To see the complete test result, please see “update: The test result of illuminance”)

Four features give you unlimited where you need DarkMaster:

•  IP67 waterproof: It allows you to explore objects in the water. Even putting Darkmaster under water.

•  Rectangular prism shape: Easy to stand DarkMaster on a small flat surface such as a stone top, or just lie it down on any surface. 

•  Built-in magnet: You can easily attach DarkMaster to a car, a metal rack, a refrigerator… etc. Darkmaster attaches to most iron material surfaces firmly. Release your hands in a second.

•  Adapt to camera tripod: Standard 1/4″ thread in the center-bottom of DarkMaster, adapt to a most camera tripod.

Dual Safety and Battery Power Saving

•  Dual Safety: Darkmaster features dual safety protections; one inside the flashlight with the LED control circuit that cutoffs the electric power when the input voltage reaches below 2.5V; the other one is the DarkMaster Li-ion rechargeable battery. There is a protection circuit inside the battery pack, which also cut-offs the battery power output when the cell voltage reaches below 2.5V and protects it from a short circuit. In addition, the DarkMaster Li-ion rechargeable battery is designed according to the safety regulation as CE、UL.  It will be tested and certified before shipping.
   
•  Main power switch: Although DarkMaster flashlights can be switched off immediately by pressing the + or – button for 1 second, the micro-controller inside is still working and consumes several microamperes. To prevent the battery from depleting its power during a long period of an off state, a built-in main power switch, a totally mechanical switch at the bottom that consumes zero power and allows a physically cutoff state without depleting battery power. The built-in vibration function will notify the user when the main power is switched on, then indicate the battery power percentage by vibrating 1 to 4 times.

Adapt multiple-size batteries  

DarkMaster is designed to adapt multiple-size batteries (size AAA*3 or single Li-ion cell of size 18650、18700、18750、21650、21700、21750、26650、26700、26750/ for example, a size “18650” means a battery with 18mm in diameter and 65mm in length). And we provide you our high-performance rechargeable Li-ion battery of 18500mWh capacity with protecting circuit inside and safety certification. And a type-C port on the battery with a charge and discharge function lets you charge the battery using a cell phone charger (type-C) and be a backup cell phone charger (a two-end type-C cable needed).

High-efficiency rechargeable battery for DarkMaster 

•  18500 mWh high-capacity Battery: the chart below shows the testing result of DarkMaster running hour testing- with 18500mWh Li-ion battery installed, continue operating at 5th gear (50% lumen output).  The built-in boost circuit help to extract most battery power and automatically stop when the battery voltage reaches below 2.5V.  A predicted curve w/o boost circuit is plotted in the dash.
   

•  Rechargeable: no need for other chargers. You can use your cell phone charger with a Type-C port to charge the DarkMaster battery. No need to get an additional battery charger. 

•  Bi-color LED indicator: When connected to the Type-C charger, the red color indicates the charging state, and the blue light shows full charge. 

•  Safety certification: DarkMaster rechargeable Li-ion battery is going to get certified and pass required safety tests, including UN38.3, CE, PSE, UL, and BSMI, before shipping.
