Introducing DOGSPLAY, the first 2-way video call and TV made for dogs. Check-in whenever, wherever, and keep your four-legged children entertained with premium content catered for their eyes and ears.

Time passes 6x faster for dogs compared to humans, so it’s important that our pups enjoy life to the fullest! Funnily enough, downtime for them can include watching their favourite Netflix or Youtube videos. DOGSPLAY is here to bring that vision to life.

As dog lovers, we see them as our forever companions. However, reality can force us to spend hours and even days away from home. Ever taken extensive sniff-walks to make up for the time lost?

That guilt as dog parents has been our driving force to develop DOGSPLAY into what it is today.

Dogs see things differently from humans. Unlike our ability to see a rainbow of colors, the spectrum for dogs is limited to blues, yellows, and some shades of grey. However, they can see an average of 70 frame rates per second, while we only see an average of 30. Dogs are also generally short-sighted, the further an object is, the more blurred it appears.

DOGSPLAY seeks to address these pain points and provide a clear and compelling viewing experience for dogs.

Dogs require more complex display adjustments than humans to see things at a standard quality. Depending on the dog’s viewing angle, the Dogfilter amplifies placements of blue and yellow to color-correct screen display. In addition, monitor frame rates are revised for frictionless viewing!

Vision support for dogs via display filters ideated from our team’s previous expertise in creating display screens for the color-blind at Samsung, South Korea.

Developed in close collaboration with numerous dog parents over 3 years, DOGSPLAY has and will continue to undergo polishing-up, ready for mass production in Novemeber 2023.

Animal behavioural expert and President of the South Korean Pet Food Association, Dr. Sang-deok Kim, shares his insight on the effect of dogs left in solitude.

Dogflix content is carefully selected by our in-house production team, film directors and animal behaviourists.

All Kickstarter backers have free access to all 4 categories of ready-to-watch videos.

We aim to launch Dogflix as a paid subscription service by Spring 2024. With unlimited access to new videos every month, take advantage of our premium content, including educational training for socialisation and desensitisation.

We’re offering all Kickstarter backers 3 months of Dogflix for FREE! Follow our future updates for more information.

Conventional CCTV-type products exist to monitor our dogs when we’re away. But, unless they can see and hear you too, they won’t experience the same reassurance we do.

DOGSPLAY optimizes communication between you and your dog.

The 84.1° wide viewing angle supports 1080 HD display resolution for a clear and full view of your pup.

Upon entering the proximity of DOGPLAYs built-in sensor, alert notifications will be sent via the app giving you the choice to sync directly in for a video call.

A dog’s hearing ability is dependent on their breed and age. However, the general hearing range sits between 40 Hz and 60 kHz (much greater than that of humans!).

DOGSPLAY is equipped with a 40 kHz+ broadband speaker enabling dog’s to experience richer sounds.

All DOGSPLAY purchases come with free DOGMUSIC playlists to help them relax in mind and body (DOGFLIX subscription not required).

Through our dedicated app, you can capture your favourite momentsrecognise their needs through real-time video call, or provide brain stimulation at any distance.

Supporting access to external content, both Netflix and Youtube will be compatible to watch on the DOGSPLAY device.

Please note:

  • Software development is currently undergoing revisions
  • Navigation on relative platforms can be controlled via any USB-wired PC mouse

Many pups require around 2 weeks to adjust to DOGSPLAY’s video call feature. See below for tips on how to get them accustomed fast!

Ensuring the safety of our pets remains as our biggest priority. Quality control measures taken during production have been reflected in our health and safety certifications.

We’ve put DOGSPLAY through endless revisions with the feedback of many dogs and their owners. With 4 major milestone product changes, it’s been a costly but worthwhile process for us at Sunny Wave Tech.

But it doesn’t stop here- with the help of our favourite employee/ office pup, we’re continuously improving our product to provide the best experience for everyone.

DOGSPLAY measures just 13.8 inches (35cm) from the base to the top, providing a comfortable viewing position when e-meeting face to face.

Medium to large breeds such as retrievers, spitzes, or huskies can also enjoy DOGSPLAY using extension legs that add an extra height of 11.8 cm (4.64 inches).

Extension legs are available exclusively to Kickstarter backers only at no additional cost!

We know our furry friends aren’t exclusively just dogs. That’s why our team at DOGSPLAY are currently developing content suitable for cats!

While the focus is currently on our tail-waggers, we aim to have feline-friendly content ready within the next year.

Dogs will require an average of 2 weeks to adjust to videocalling with DOGSPLAY.
