the ”wow” factor
MEZMODROP creates what we call the ”wow” factor, especially upon the first successful drops. Every launch brings anticipation, surprise, and wonder.
The most frequent reactions: “HOW!?”, ”Did That Really Just Happen?”, or ”What is the Secret?”. How can a loose aluminum ring fly freely into the air and find its way precisely back? Speculations have been wild 😄
Is it controlled? Is there a magnet? Is the video reversed/ fake? Or perhaps you thought it was some kind of Ai-generated magic? 😄
We don’t use any Ai in our videos. Those HI-END cinematic shots are filmed in slow motion using Super Macro lens- the result turns out to be pretty magical 🙂

The real secret lies in the combination of extreme manufacturing precision and unique geometry. MEZMODROP’s shape was designed and perfected through countless test flights. Every curve, angle, and contact point has a purpose. With our CNC machines, we can achieve a level of precision required for the job.

Every detail, every color, and every material reflects aerospace engineering.
The black-anodized aluminum base draws inspiration from the lower section of space rockets. The silicone catching tip takes its shape from the tips of rockets.
The color combinations are based by the visual details found across real space rockets- from the exterior bodies and rings to the smallest springs, wings, and technical components.
Spring color, Wing color, Tip and Ring colors, Base finish- all resemble some part of the aerospace history.
Everything works together to create the appearance of a miniature launch system sitting directly on your desk.
will it land every time?
Not exactly every time and that is why we also call MEZMODROP a skill toy. It wouldn’t be as satisfying to land a record without a small challenge 🙂But if a child can do it you can do it as well 🙂
Shorter-distance launches are highly consistent and land successfully more than 90% of the time. They are perfect when you simply want a quick, satisfying fidgeting experience without worrying about the setup. The higher you launch, the greater the challenge becomes and of course- the more rewarding the landing feels.
For high-distance launches and records, your setup begins to matter more. The most important factor is a stable and level surface. The straighter your desktop, the better your chance of achieving a perfect high landing. Our current successful launch record is more than 1.5 metres. Can you beat it?
silicone shell for missed drops
Not every high distance launch will land successfully, that is part of the challenge. For those moments we designed the color matching silicone shell that perfectly wraps the aluminum ring. (Included in each MEZMODROP kit).
The shell makes the unsuccessful drops silent and protects your more delicate or premium desktop surfaces. Use it whenever you need additional protection or remove it when you want to experience the aluminum ring in its original form.

If you have more than one Mezmodrop you will be able to switch between their rings and tips creating many different color combos.

We made MEZMODROP to feel intuitive and easy to interact with. Pull the ring slightly for quick, short-distance launches. Pull it deeper to increase the height and turn every launch into a new challenge.
Inside MEZMODROP is a carefully selected spring with a strength specifically tuned for the size and weight of the ring. The launch feels natural and satisfying from the very first try. The deeper you pull, the higher it flies.
complexity of Mezmodrop – or how it’s made
From first glance MEZMODROP may look like a simple mechanical object, but it hides a huge amount of work behind its creation. To make it work perfectly, we went through countless prototypes and thousands of test flights. Experimenting with different shapes, dimensions, spring strengths, materials, catching surfaces, and manufacturing tolerances.
Each aluminum component is precision-machined on CNC machines to achieve the tolerances up to 0,01 mm. Every detail, every material has a purpose. Each size and shape is chosen based on performance during the testing phase- to give you the best user experience.
