DualX™ rethinks dual-extruder printing with one fixed extruder for reliable, continuous output and one tool-changing extruder for expanded creative freedom. Each toolhead heats independently, enabling faster color and material changes, less downtime, and smoother multi-material workflows.


Our patented, motor-driven automatic locking mechanism enables toolhead changes in as little as 5 seconds. Its wear-resistant, all-metal construction delivers greater positioning repeatability and a secure, stable grip, keeping each toolhead firmly in place—even during high-speed printing.


All seven toolheads heat independently, allowing you to set a dedicated temperature for each one and preheat it before use. This reduces waiting and repeated reheating between tool changes for a faster, smoother multi-color and multi-material workflow.


Unlike single-nozzle filament-changing systems that repeatedly purge, clean, and reheat the same nozzle, DualX™ assigns dedicated toolheads to different colors and materials. This enables faster switching, greater material freedom, and significantly less purge waste—making complex multi-color and multi-material printing more efficient.


The fixed left toolhead can be dedicated to printing PVA or PETG support material, while the six swappable toolheads print with different colors and materials. This flexible setup improves multi-material printing efficiency and makes supports easier to remove, reducing the risk of damage to delicate details and complex structures.


Single-Head, Multi-Head, Copy, and Mirror modes adapt to different projects—from everyday prints and multi-material creations to paired parts and batch production.

Print two identical parts in Copy Mode or a pair of symmetrical parts in Mirror Mode. With two independent toolheads working simultaneously, M1D can nearly double productivity for batch production, paired components, and functional prototypes.


Use Single-Head Mode for everyday printing, or combine multiple toolheads in one workflow to print different colors, materials, and dedicated support materials within a single model.



Create complex multi-color and multi-material models in less time while using more of your filament for the print—not for purging. The result is a faster, more versatile workflow with near-zero purge waste.



A dedicated rear camera automatically calibrates X/Y offsets across the toolhead system, while two toolhead-mounted cameras independently calibrate extrusion consistency for the left and right nozzles. Together, they simplify multi-toolhead setup, improve print consistency, and complete calibration up to 2.5X⁶ faster than traditional probe-based methods.


Eddy current scanning provides non-contact, high-precision measurement of the build platform, enabling faster automatic bed leveling for consistent first layers and more reliable prints.


The built-in mechanical Z-lift mechanism automatically adjusts the height of the left toolhead and compensates for Z-offset differences in real time, keeping both nozzles precisely aligned at the same height for stable dual-extruder printing.


Powered by a high-precision accelerometer, vibration compensation detects and reduces resonance caused by rapid directional changes during high-speed printing. By automatically optimizing motion control, M1D minimizes ringing and ghosting to deliver cleaner edges, smoother surfaces, and sharper details—even at high speeds.


A built-in chamber camera is designed to detect foreign objects on the build plate before printing and monitor for spaghetti failures during printing. When an issue is detected, it can pause the print and send an alert, while also capturing time-lapse videos of the entire printing process.

Note: Foreign object and spaghetti failure detection are currently being tested and may not be enabled when the first production units are delivered. These features will be made available to all users through a future OTA software update.



The integrated six-channel system supports automatic filament loading and monitors for filament runout, nozzle clogs, and filament tangles—enabling smoother material changes and more reliable multi-color and multi-material printing.


A redesigned interface brings filament loading, calibration, print setup, and monitoring into one clear workflow—making advanced multi-toolhead printing easier to control.
